At the MSOP lectures in 2025, I put a post it note in my Bible to be sure to watch this lesson again. I wrote “This is an eternally important lesson,” and so it is. Get your Bible and notebook ready, ignore the YouTube commercials, and learn “How to love God” by Allen Webster.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

We are excited about our Truth in Love Lectureship coming up, and we want you to join us! This year our theme is "Penitent People", and we have a great list of speakers to present these lessons from God's word. We hope you're making plans to be there and bringing a friend too!

Just a glimpse of the efforts at the Strickland church of Christ. We chased the moon to the west in the morning and greeted it as it rose on our way home last night. In between those times, so many souls in the Glen, MS, area were touched by the continued outpouring of love by the members. They have been feeding people three hot meals a day and encouraging them to stay and get warmed up and charge their phones. They provided supplies to help them get through these frigid temperatures in the midst of no heat and no water. Caleb did an incredible job organizing and delegating. The cooks and kitchen helpers fed all the survivors who came in and all the staff, with smiles and encouragement the whole time! Those filling out forms, organizing supply runs, taking everything out to cars, and directing traffic worked tirelessly! There was a special devotional for the Spanish-speaking friends who came. And those on the prayer team took the time to listen, show compassion, and hold hands while lifting their names in prayer before our Heavenly Father. God’s love was shown, and still is, through many hands and feet! These souls still have a lot to do to recover from this trial - while the power is being restored, many have water damage from burst pipes and income loss from everything being shut down. Please continue to pray for them and for these good brethren working to be light and salt. There is Good News!

Here is a photo dump from yesterday’s work at the Ripley church of Christ in Ripley, MS. There were many hands helping those suffering in the community from the bitter cold, lack of power, lack of water, and icy travel conditions. The Ripley congregation had great support from members of other area congregations as well. The prayer teams had tender, compassionate conversations led by their elders, David and Michael, and their youth ministers, Cole and Tucker. There are too many names to mention, but God’s love was shown by those braving the cold outside while directing traffic and loading supplies into cars, those helping survivors navigate their way around and choose items, those running around filling needs wherever they arose, and those manning the kitchen making sure the helpers were kept fueled. It was especially wonderful to see the young people and children learning how to serve and doing so with smiles and joy! The congregation is excited about following up with all those who came through their doors to expand on this evangelism opportunity and teach the Gospel to those needing the Living Water! Please continue to pray for their efforts, those working so hard in freezing temperatures to restore power, and those suffering from this historic ice storm. There is Good News!

When you see this you need to realize a few things, the reason everything is so dirty is because the bath tub, toilet, and the sink were 100% under water. Muddy river water at that. The flood waters rose again yesterday in San Saba Texas, the homes we were pulling everything out of are now back under water. Please please please pray for these folks. We are currently planning a bigger effort in two weeks to help even more. We will continue to update. To God be the glory!

Please be praying for more survivors to be found, and for comfort for the families that lost loved ones.
