Facebook Live has been down for our church for the past 5 days. Has that also happened to anyone else? I am trying to figure out if the problem is just with my Facebook Live connection or if it is a broader issue. Thanks for letting me know.

The video below is a must watch. In it Governor Kay Ivey and Dr. Scott Harris, Director of the Alabama Department of Public Health, urge Alabamians to get vaccinated. The video is less than ten minutes long. Please get yourself vaccinated immediately and share this video on your own page and on other social media websites.

Even though the video was posted two weeks ago as of the time that I am sharing it it had gotten less than three thousand views. Let's turn that into three million! Let's make this video go viral! The videos about cats and dogs doing funny things go viral. How much more so should a video about life or death, your life or your death, go viral?

Remember, get vaccinated! It's the pro-life thing to do.

Dear Family and Friends:

Please practice all the COVID-19 safety protocols:

1. Get vaccinated immediately
2. Avoid all unnecessary social situations
3. You absolutely must wear a mask when you absolutely must be around other people
4. Practice social distancing

Last night Governor Abbott of Texas went to a Republican Party function, a gathering that in the first place did not need to held and in the second place the governor, whose health has already been compromised by a crushed spine, did not need to attend. To make matters worse, while he was there he refused to wear a mask and he refused to practice any social distancing. While he is fully vaccinated, earlier today he tested positive for COVID-19. Moreover, since there were hundreds of people at last night's event, who knows how many people he may have infected with the deadly virus.

Folks, the safety protocols are tools for your protection. No one tool used independently of the others will guarantee that you do not contract COVID-19. However, the more of the tools that you implement the greater your chances will be of not contracting and not spreading this lethal illness. Please, for your sake and the sake of those around you, follow all the safety protocols.
