For our 120th Anniversary, we are rushing to conclude the beautification of the facility. The slope from the parking lot to the torii gate is prepared. The Shrine building and torii gate are now bring repainted. We are sorry for the inconvenience when you visit the Shrine.

120周年記念行事にむけて、境内施設の整備が急ピッチで行われています。参道のスロープが整備され、現在は神殿と鳥居の塗装が行われています。ご参拝の皆様にはご不便をおかけして申し訳ございません。

Happy Chrysanthemum Festival!
The 9th day of the Nine month of the year is called Double-Ninth Day and it is a time to celebrate longevity with chrysanthemum flowers, according to East Asian tradition. Let us respect our kupuna (elders) and pray for our long life! Open to the public.

Happy Full Moon! We have been officiating misogi (ritual bathing) every full moon evening to commemorate the celestial cycle and natural rhythm.

The Hiroshima Commemoration and Peace Service was held this year with the Mayor of Honolulu as keynote speaker as well as various other local leaders speaking and then ringing the Hiroshima Peace Bell !
