Since 1886 the rural Roman Catholic Community of St. Joseph Parish in Hayward, WI has gathered to acknowledge God’s many blessings here in th

e northwoods. We challenge ourselves to live out our baptismal call by embracing the gospel values: faith in the family, commitment to community, and reverence for all human life. We dedicate ourselves to the spiritual, educational and social needs of the people. Always striving to do better, we strengthen our Catholic faith by embracing our traditions, celebrating his love in public worship, and sharing that love with others in our daily living.

A long-standing parish tradition is to host a spaghetti feed to fuel up xc skiers before the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation - Birkie. Back in February, we did just that and donated all the proceeds to our local Meals on Wheels, an outreach of the Senior Resource Center located in Sawyer County, WI!!
Thank you to all who donated food/supplies, volunteered time to cook and serve, and especially to all who ate yummy spaghetti and skied personal record Birkies the following day.

**Please note, there is no scientific correlation between eating pasta at St. Joseph's and skiing fast the following day! ;)

✨ 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory – Lent Study & Consecration ✨

This Lent, Jesus invites you into deeper intimacy.

Bishop Powers has asked the faithful across our Diocese to consecrate ourselves to Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Our Hayward Area Catholic Churches will be joining together in this powerful 33-day journey leading up to Holy Thursday.

📖 Begin reading Sunday, March 1
🙏 Consecration at Holy Thursday Liturgies on April 2

You can join a small group at multiple times and at multiple locations — or even lead your own group!

Whether you’ve done a consecration before or this is your first time, this is a beautiful way to deepen your love for Jesus, truly present in the Eucharist during Lent.

Let’s walk this journey together.
