Over the ocean, wild and free
Skimming the waters, paradise to see
Palm trees swaying in a gentle breeze
A new adventure awaiting for you and for me.

Today, brought new experiences as we boarded a boat headed for the Florida keys. My eyes were wide open as they took in the beautiful green water and white sandy beach. Such an eclectic area is Key West, Florida. History sits on every corner, roosters run wild in the streets, and pastel multi colored houses line up in a row,
Amazing flora and fauna saturates the area in many shades of green. Beautiful.

I do so enjoy the creation God has created. I love the diversity, the beauty, the worship it evokes within me for it's Creator, and the way it draws people together through each unique twist and turn.

I'm truly thankful this morning for all that God has given to us. And today, gratitude rises to a new level. I desire to be strong, to possess courage, and to not be afraid as this new day unfolds Thank you Father. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit.

Chin up, Ladies.... God has given you all the tools you need to be your kids' mom. Abide in Him, soak up His Word, and know that your kids---they belong to God, so take a deep breath... You've got this!

“Sometimes it’s hard to be the mom! Motherhood is challenging. Just when I think I've figured a few things out and I'm about to shine my mommy halo, something happens. Something loud, tearful and difficult, and I find myself knee deep in drama.

My kids want to be in charge. And while they certainly have the strong wills, its immature leadership that needs to be reigned in.

I have been designed and assigned by God to be the mom to these kids. Sometimes I don’t feel like I have what it takes to be the mom, I need a friend to remind me.
