"The rock is the storm."
Hey everyone out there in internet land! It's that time again to gather together and reflect on Sunday's sermon. Pastor Tevin led us through Psalm 18. We are reminded in God's word that He continues to fight for us today. In case you missed it, follow the link below to watch the full Worship Gathering on our YouTube page. Here are some discussion questions to help us apply the text to our lives.

1.) David starts out by saying, “I love you, O Lord, my strength.” How does recognizing God as your primary source of strength change the way you approach daily struggles? What is the difference between knowing God is a refuge versus actively taking refuge in Him?
2.) Was there ever a time when you felt completely hopeless? How did you react? Did you turn to God? How did you pray during that time? How hard or easy is it for you to believe that God truly delights in you, especially when you are struggling?
3.) What kind of obstacles are you facing right now that you need God’s strength to overcome?
4.) When things are going well in our careers, families, or personal growth, how can we guard our hearts against taking the credit ourselves? In what ways can your personal stories of God fighting for you become a testimony that encourages people who don’t know Him yet?
