We were so excited this year as a church family to witness Naomi Clark’s baptism! God is at work in the lives of people of all ages, and we are incredibly encouraged by Naomi’s testimony and the faith journey that led her to make this meaningful decision. We hope her story encourages you as well.
“When I was younger, I didn’t understand how God existed. I would frequently ask myself, “If I don’t know that George Washington is real, how do I know that God is real?” This question was out of ignorance. I later realized that both existed not because we can see them, but because we can see what they have done. It’s so easy to see now that only God could make a universe this detailed. I felt the Holy Spirit telling me that it was true, and He worked through my parents, teachers, and pastors to help me realize this. All of the sudden it totally made sense that God created the world, we messed up, but Jesus saves us from death! God loves me so much that He gave his one and only Son to die for me!
Phillipians 1:6 – And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
