Job 19:25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;

Until every knee will bend and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord I will as I do know that my Redeemer lives.

People misconstrue Christ and Christianity all of the time for umpteen different reasons and possibilities. They arch their disdain around the hurt, fear, anger, pride, virtue in their hearts with word puzzles and creeds of revolution to anything outside of their scope of understanding. It breaks my heart to see such investment in provocation of anything and of anyone who is testifies of Jesus the Christ. I know it sounds like 2 Timothy 4:3 is being fulfilled, maybe so. This however is what I know, my Redeemer lives.

Job had faced, gone through, been shifted, a bunch of stuff. He had cried out, yet the storm raged, he had laid prostrate and still the storm raged, he was encouraged to turn from the Lord and still he had faith and would not yield to the enemy. We are not Job, and yet he knew what you and I know today, our Redeemer lives.

It is not easy, nor has it ever been told that it would be. To walk in a world that has hated the Lord it also now hates you. They’ve added you to their list of things to hate, but here is the thing, you and I have added them to our list to love, to pray for, to encourage, and find that their Redeemer lives as well.

Look you all, there was a reason that John preached it, Jesus taught it, and we must echo it, “Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. John was put in prison and died, Jesus was wounded for our transgressions(ss-ssssssss) bruised for our iniquity(ss-ssssss) He is our Redeemer and though He breathed His last on the cross He breathed again on the third day and today and forever more, our Redeemer Lives.

Arise of you who Slumber in Darkness, Lift your head and raise your voice before the Lord and repent and believe!

thanks for a great time and tour!

Psalm 18:35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.

The Lord lifts His hand to those who bow before Baal.
To those who trust in Him He reaches out His right hand to hold them up.

Church, return to the Lord, remember your first love.

It is not a dictum tied with a bow and sealed with a signet ring, the invitation is not a special font with raised lettering and embossed in gold or silver trim. Rather it is the best kind of invitation, a personal one that has been delivered through the Son, Jesus. Come, come all of you who are weary and worn and He will give you rest, come just come all of you who are oppressed and despondent of the world and He will give you peace.

You have been given His shield of His salvation. Not of your making but of His. Constructed with patience, smelted from the ore of heaven, hammed out on the anvil of time, forged in the craftsmanship of He who declared let there be light.

Now be still and know that He is God……………………………..

This shield of His salvation has been purchased for you. Only the blood of the Lamb covers the cost of such a shield. You can’t earn it, you can’t do just to be worthy of it. Only when you accept it by faith will it be given to you from the hand that is outstretched, and has been outstretched to you. The hand of the Lord is even now reaching out to those who would believe. It is up to you and I, who have received this shield, to wield it as He would and has commanded us. To teach people to do all of the things He has commanded.

Sometimes I wonder if we truly down deep in the well of our soul comprehend the gift we’ve been given. I say that because, well, because of how we treat it, and how we allow others to treat it as well.

Look, Salvation it not just for after the grave, it is for today and tomorrow. Don’t “act,” like it means something as in all the world is just a stage and we are all players,” -WS. But live it like Christ lived it, showed us how to have peace with it, taught us to pick it up and use it and to walk by faith behind it. Dear one, I could tell you others are counting on you and I but that falls far short of how God has called us to use it.

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, “I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin”?

Who’s hand is free of a stone?
Who’s lips are tamed?
Who’s motives are beyond reproach?
Who’s spirit has overcome the flesh?
Who’s knees are not scared of being broken?

I’d say before you answer those, read the rest of this, but it's already too late to say that so lets say go back and read them afterwards.

I would like to say mine, mine, mine, mine, but the last I can not say so, so conversely how can I then say mine to any? It’s not, “well, no one is perfect,” or even “for all have sinned and fallen short.” It is who can say that they have made their heart clean and are pure from sin? The only one is Jesus the Christ that I know of who can say that, no matter how good I or we think we are.

This is though what I do know. Jesus Died once and for all for my and your sin, that we are to go and sin no more. By letting, no, that's not right, there is no allowance for it. Rather there is only surrender, falling prostrate before HIM in all sincerity as an open heart rendered by being broken over our sin (great or small). Truly seeking after Him to be that “New Creation,” made from His Light with not a shadow death(sin).

That we are, each of us, a work in progress, esteeming grace over stones, lies, pride, well pride again. That we’ve learned something from the scars on our knees to not go that way again. Being broken is not pleasant, I wish it on no one but on all, at the same time. Being broken is fruit of the spirit, for He who dwells seated next to the Father said He would send a “Helper.” We need to listen to His Counsel more and less from ourselves.

Let us keep His word over our desire, let us keep His love over our pride, let us keep His grace over our selfishness, Let His words be uttered upon lips from a clean heart.

God Bless Each of You, Yes You!

Caney Ford is a church in the Harriman and Roane County area.

Psalm 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.

I do know who needs to hear this, it's you!

Beyond the headlines in print or airways are real people. People who hurt, people who are broken, people who hope, people who cry and weep, people who love, people who care, people who want to be loved, people with blood in their veins and a soul that reaches out.

I’m only here to remind you that God loves you. As a matter of fact God has never not for an instant of an instant stopped loving you, it is not in His Character. Yes dear one, no matter what situation you either find yourself in or placed yourself in God’s love for you is real and (to me) it is tangible.

How I know that God loves you is not JUST because the sun rises and falls, not Just because we breathe air of the breath He poured into us, not JUST because of a Just because. I know He loves you because in His word He not only said so He also sent Christ out of love for you.

You have value before the Lord, not because of your title, your name, your accomplishments, not because of your wallet or business you own. He, that day man was created, said “Let us create man in our own image and likeness.” You are His glory when you love Him and keep His commandments. Now before you get into how many times you’ve failed in your keeping, are there not also many upon many times that you have loved by spirit to conqueror the flesh in keeping the Commandments. Stop looking at your failures only, but know that thru His Holies Spirit indwelling in you that your spirit also finds victory.

His victory in you shows His love for you.

You are loved, He is your salvation, work it out with fear and trembling by faith.
