You're invited to join us at Big Emory Church as Pastor Neil begins a new sermon series titled "GIVE ME THE FREEDOM" with the first message, “DON'T STOP BELIEVING” from Galatians 1:1–3

In the opening verses of Galatians Paul reminds believers of the authority of the gospel and the grace and peace that come through Jesus Christ. This message will challenge us to stand firm in our faith, trust God's truth, and never lose confidence in the One who called us. No matter the circumstances don't stop believing what God has said and what He is able to do.

Join us as we worship together, grow in God's Word and discover the freedom that is found in Christ. It’s going to be a GREAT DAY!

You're invited to join us at Big Emory Church as Pastor Neil brings a special Memorial Day message titled “THE CALL TO REMEMBER” from Joshua 4:19–24

In this powerful passage God instructed His people to set up memorial stones so future generations would remember His faithfulness power and deliverance. This message will challenge us to never forget what God has done and to pass down a testimony of faith to those who come after us.

As we honor Memorial Day we also pause to remember the sacrifices made for our freedom and reflect on the goodness and faithfulness of God in every season of life. Join us as we worship together and give thanks for all the Lord has done. It’s going to be a GREAT DAY!

Are you coming to church tomorrow? We hope so, because we can't wait to worship the Lord with you!

Tomorrow morning at 11am, Pastor Neil will share a message on this Memorial Day weekend titled: The call to Remember from Joshua 4: 19-24.

Tomorrow is also Pentecost Sunday.

Pentecost Sunday is a commemoration and celebration of the receiving of the Holy Spirit by the early church. John the Baptist prophesied of the first Pentecost when Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11). Jesus confirmed this prophecy with the promise of the Holy Spirit to the disciples in John 14:26. He showed Himself to these men after His death on the cross and His resurrection, giving convincing proofs that He was alive. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Father’s gift of the Holy Spirit, from whom they would receive power to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:3-8). After Jesus’ ascension to heaven, the men returned to Jerusalem and joined together in prayer in an upper room. On the Day of Pentecost, just as promised, the sound of a violent wind filled the house and tongues of fire came to rest on each of them and all were filled with the Holy Spirit. They were given the power of communication, which Peter used to begin the ministry for which Jesus had prepared him. After the coming of the Holy Spirit, the disciples did not stay in the room basking in God’s glory but burst out to tell the world. This was the beginning of the church as we know it. (Acts 2:1-4)

Holy Spirit You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your Glory God is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your Presence Lord

We hope that you come expecting the Lord to move and ready to encounter the presence of the Holy Spirit.

There's nothing quite like the refreshing, uplifting feeling of a powerful night of praise. Moments where a community comes together to lift up their voices in praise to the only one who is worthy and experience the goodness of God together are truly special. Last night was one of those moments. Thank you to New Life Church for a great night of worshiping our GREAT GOD together!

We hope that everyone will join us on July 19th for our next community worship at Big Emory Church.
