Sunday's message from Drew Wells: Jonah 3:1-10
This passage highlights the heart of God—not a desire to punish, but a desire to save. The people of Nineveh responded to God's warning with genuine repentance. Their change was more than words; it was demonstrated through their actions as they turned away from their sinful ways.
This verse reminds us that God sees more than our outward appearance. He sees our hearts, our choices, and our willingness to change course when we have wandered from Him. The people of Nineveh were far from perfect, yet when they humbled themselves and turned toward God, they found mercy instead of judgment.
The same truth applies today. No matter how far we may have strayed, God welcomes sincere repentance. His grace is available to those who seek Him, and His mercy is greater than our failures.
Our challenge this week is simple: examine our hearts, turn from anything that separates us from God, and trust in His abundant mercy. The God who showed compassion to Nineveh is the same God who offers hope, forgiveness, and restoration today.

Jeremiah Lanphier, a businessman turned ministry worker, started a simple prayer meeting that sparked a movement of revival across a nation. His story is a reminder that God can use one ordinary person and one simple prayer meeting to spark extraordinary revival.

What could God do through ONE prayer meeting started by you?

We’re challenging you to begin a prayer meeting where you live, work, study, shop, or play. Gather a few people, pray boldly, and believe God to move.

No matter what you’re facing, you don’t have to carry it alone. Our church would be honored to pray for you, your family, your situation, and your future.

Heavy traffic, crowded roads, and busy schedules… Memorial Day weekend is here. 🚗☀️

Ever had one of those moments trying to merge into traffic where someone either graciously let you in… or absolutely refused? 😬

Funny how something so small can bring out the best — or worst — in people.

But in the middle of all the movement/merging, don’t miss what matters most.

The early church showed us a different way. In the middle of a world full of chaos and division, believers chose unity, generosity, and love for one another.

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.” Acts 2:44-45

One of the clearest signs on the road to revival is unity. When God’s people come together with one heart and one purpose, lives are changed.

Join us this Sunday as we continue our Road to Revival and discover how unity, faith, and the presence of God can change everything.

There is power when God’s people come together.

We’d love to worship with you! ❤️

Between Mother’s Day, Baccalaureate, and Graduate Recognition, we’re a little delayed in our official welcome announcement.

We just can’t contain our excitement any longer! ❤️

Please join us in officially welcoming our new pastor, Drew Wells, his wife Sandy, and their family to Trenton Street Baptist Church. We are beyond excited for this new chapter and look forward to all God has in store for our church through their leadership and ministry.

Pastor Drew and Sandy, we are so thankful the Lord led you here, and we can’t wait to worship, serve, and grow together.
