What an incredible day at New Life Church as we celebrated Pentecost Sunday.

Yesterday was a powerful reminder that God never intended for us to live drained or running on empty. Pastor Jeff reminded us that Spirit-filled living is not a one-time moment, but a daily surrendered walk with the Holy Spirit.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. — Galatians 5:16

We were challenged to stop trying to live like “speedboats” powered by our own effort, and instead become “sailboats” that move by catching the wind of the Holy Spirit. What a picture of how God wants to lead our lives with peace, wisdom, conviction, and power.

The presence of God was so real as we reflected on what true Spirit-filled living looks like:

• Walking in surrender
• Producing the fruit of the Spirit
• Living with peace in pressure
• Finding power to overcome temptation and endure faithfully

We are grateful for all God did yesterday. We’re praying this week you won’t just have church moments, but you’ll walk daily in the Spirit. 🔥

What a wonderful day of worship at New Life Church! Pastor kicked off a brand new series teaching us what it means to be Spirit-filled and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. We don’t just need a moment with God — we need to be filled daily.

And to top it all off, we ended the day with an incredible Community Night of Worship with Big Emory. What an amazing day in His house! 🙌🔥

What an incredible Serve Day at New Life Church! 💚

Today, 81 people came together to love and serve our community in so many meaningful ways — from feeding families and encouraging first responders to praying with people, serving nursing home residents, and helping clean up our community.

This was our biggest Serve Day yet, and we’re so thankful for every person who showed up ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We love our community and we’re just getting started!

What a beautiful Mother’s Day at New Life! 💐

Pastor Tonya brought a powerful word titled “A Powerful Invitation” and reminded us that Jesus is always calling us to come to the table. No matter how messy life may look, God can still use a messy table — you just have to come to the table. 🙌

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” — Revelation 3:20

We had a powerful time of worship and celebrated the amazing mothers and women who pour so much love into others every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special Sunday!
