The Church of Christ is a non-denominational Christian community with groups meeting all over the world. We pattern our faith community after the first church found in the New Testament scriptures.

Treasures May 31, 2026

Reading: Matt 25: 14-30 Parable of the talents/gifts

Jesus's teachings: Matt 6:19-21. Where’s your heart? Earth or Heaven?

Value of treasures: Matt 13:44-46 the treasure in field & fine pearl. Worth any sacrifice, brings joy and excitement.

Story of rich young ruler. Matt 19:16-22. Keep commandments 5-9 and love thy neighbor. Rid distractions and follow Jesus.

Solomon's wisdom: Prov 11:24-28 Give freely, rain down blessings, share, diligently seek good, live righteous.

Our Eternal Treasure: Colossians 3:23-24. Whatever you do, serve the Lord and receive your inheritance.

Clay pots: 2 Cor 4:7. The power belongs to God, our Spiritual Treasure.

Rejoice in the Word as one who finds a treasure. Psalms 119:162

Good Stewards: Matt: 25:14-30 Don’t hide your head in the sand, rightly handle God’s Treasure.

Hold fast your Treasure: Rev 3:11. So no one takes your crown. Heb 2:1 Don’t let it slip away.

His Promise: Matt 19:29. Receive a hundredfold + eternal life.

Can’t take it with you: Prov 11:4 Rightousness delivers from death.

Love of money: Heb 13:5. Be satisfied and God is always with us.
