Congregational Notice:

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

At the Congregational Voter’s Meeting yesterday, with giving thanks to God for the the blessings of Word and Sacrament ministry that have taken place over the decades, the congregation unanimously voted to cease operations on Pentecost Sunday 2027 (Sunday, May 16, 2027). Upon closure, the members of St. John’s are encouraged to transfer membership to our sister Missouri Synod congregations, including Immanuel in Scranton, where Pastor Zimmerman was coming down from weekly for the past 9 years.
