The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your hands.
Psalm 138:8

Did you know God is more intent on fulfilling his purpose for your life than you are? He is fully aware you are the weaker vessel in your relationship with him. While we might have zeal and passion, we naturally grow weak, lazy, or idle. This can be discouraging to us, but God is not easily discouraged. After all, he is our Maker and knows exactly how we are.

God can fulfill his purpose for you because his love will endure over you forever: It is not a weak love. You are the precious work of his hands.
Hallelujah, Amen!

A person who does not have the Spirit does not accept the truths that come from the Spirit of God. That person thinks they are foolish and cannot understand them, because they can only be judged to be true by the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:14

How has fellowship with the Holy Spirit affected your faith? Do you wonder if you even have a relationship with the Spirit? If you have yielded your life to God through faith in Jesus, then you already have the Spirit of God dwelling within you.

By his help, we are empowered by grace to know God and to surrender our lives to his will and ways. Through the Spirit, we have revelation of the truths laid out in Scripture. Have you ever read a passage or verse that seemed to jump off the page and speak to your life in a specific way? That is revelation from the Holy Spirit. There is always more to discover about the magnanimous nature of God through his Word. Today, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth about God in a new and meaningful way. He is faithful to answer.
Hallelujah, Amen!

The one who guards his mouth and tongue keeps himself out of trouble.
Proverbs 21:23

Shoot off a quick text. Tweet. Comment. It’s easy to do any of these without giving much thought to what we are putting out there. Many times, we do it out of a reaction to what someone else said. We’re mostly concerned with painting ourselves in the best possible light. We forget, though, that everything we say has an effect on the ones who hear or see it. That impact can be positive, but it can also be negative.

Before you communicate, do you consider how it will affect people? Next time, take a minute first. Consider the potential impact of your words and ask, “Is what I’m about to do going to be beneficial or potentially harmful?”
Hallelujah, Amen!
