Please keep the family of Major John “Alex” Klinner in your prayers tonight. 🇺🇸🙏
On March 12, Major Klinner was among the six U.S. Air Force crew members who tragically lost their lives when a KC-135 refueling aircraft crashed in Iraq while supporting Operation Epic Fury. To the world, it may be reported as a military tragedy. But to one family, it was the moment everything changed forever. A home that once echoed with laughter now carries a silence that no words can fill. A wife lost the man she planned to grow old with. And children who once ran into their father’s arms will now grow up holding onto memories and stories of the dad who loved them more than anything.

Behind the uniform was a man who carried more than duty — he carried a family on his shoulders. Major Klinner wasn’t just serving his country overseas; he was also the man who showed up for his kids, the one who made ordinary moments feel special, the one his wife called her best friend. He was the protector, the provider, the steady presence in their lives that made everything feel safe and whole. Families like theirs build their lives around simple things: bedtime hugs, weekend mornings together, school events, family dinners after long days. Those moments often feel small in the moment, but they are the very things that hold a family together. Now those moments will live on in photographs, memories, and the stories his children will hear about the incredible man their father was.

Tonight, somewhere in America, a family is facing a future they never imagined. Children are learning what it means to grow up without their dad. A wife is grieving the man who once stood beside her through every chapter of life. The uniform Alex wore represented honor, courage, and sacrifice — but the weight of that sacrifice is carried by the people who loved him most. So tonight, take a moment to pray for the Klinner family. Pray for strength for his wife, comfort for his children, and peace for a family whose lives will never be the same. Major John “Alex” Klinner served his country with courage, but the greatest role he ever held was being a husband and a father. And that love will live on forever in the hearts he left behind. 🇺🇸🙏

Good morning. I would like to introduce everyone to a series of lessons on Biblical Manhood. The next 25 lessons are from a series called The Quest For Authentic Manhood by Dr. Robert Lewis. This series has been integral in shaping my spiritual change of mind and behavior. This series is intended for spiritual, marital, and personal growth. The series is called "25 ways to be a servant leader." I would recommend and encourage everyone to look into this work, as he's completed 3 curriculums designed for men's growth. I think all of us can benefit from these. I am far from perfect with these, but know this is highly valuable to all men. With that being said, here's the first one.
1. A spiritual leader includes his wife in envisioning the future.
While it seems simple enough, many observations can be made, such as a leader will recognize the need for a complementary partnership in that men are called to protect and build up their wives without Lording over them, with both partners contributing their unique gifts to the marriage and family. It's a shared vision where he shares his heart and plans, including his wife in major decisions regarding their home, parental responsibilities, ministry, while asking and listening to her ambitions as well. This would include collaborative prayer and seeks personal growth, while valuing her perspective as essential to their joint spiritual journeys. This could also be through ministry, developing community impact, and future endeavors.
Numerous verses can be applied here, such as Ephesians 5:21, 25-28, 1 Peter 3:7, Proverbs 14:1, and Ecclesiastes 4:12.
I hope you all enjoy this journey together. More to come next week.

With rising tensions in the Middle East involving Iran and Israel, many service members continue to serve in uncertain and dangerous conditions far from home.

In times like these, it is important to pause and pray for our troops — for their protection, their strength, and their safe return. Let us also remember with deep gratitude those who have given their lives in the line of duty, and keep their families in our prayers as they carry both pride and loss.

May God watch over every soldier standing watch tonight.
May He grant peace to the fallen, comfort to their loved ones, and courage to those who continue to serve.

Sergeant Steven Wojcik of Strum, Wisconsin, was a U.S. Marine who proudly served his country through both the Marine Corps and the Army Reserves. Wojcik has received the Purple Heart Honor, Meritorious Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal for his sacrifices and injuries while being stationed in Iraq. Wojcik has battled PTSD after being hit by an IED while in Iraq and being injured in two separate explosions. He decided to come forward and share his battle with PTSD to raise awareness and help other veterans with their mental and physical struggles. Wojcik was serving as a trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol when one of his co-workers nominated him for the TV show, Military Makeover, hosted by Montel Williams. Both the VFW and the community showed a tremendous amount of care for Wojcik and his family through this service project.
