**June 23** — Park Pop-In @ Roberts Community Park (10:00–11:00 AM)

**July 7** — Park Pop-In + Ice Cream @ Roberts Community Park (10:00–11:00 AM)

**July 29** — Faith & Fun Night (5:30–7:00 PM)
Tie-dye activity — bring a white shirt!

**August 11** — Final Park Pop-In @ Roberts Community Park (10:00–11:00 AM)

**August 23** — Back-to-School/Life Transitions Blessing (5:30–7:00 PM)

These gatherings are for ALL ages and stages—not just kids and families. Everyone is welcome!

**Good Neighbor Days Parade**
Walkers are needed for the parade! Everyone is welcome to join us as we represent our church in the community. Please contact Amanda if you would like to participate.

**Women’s Bible Study**
Women’s Bible Study meets the third Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. All are welcome!

**Men’s Group**
The Men’s Group meets on the second Sunday of each month. All are welcome!

**Bible Study Update**
Regular Bible study is on break for the summer.

**Mission Trip**
Please keep our mission trip group in your prayers as they travel to Rapid City, South Dakota, departing June 7 and returning late on June 12.

We can’t wait to see you all this summer and again this fall!

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause with gratitude and remembrance for those who gave their lives in service to our country. We give thanks for their sacrifice, and we hold their families in prayer.

Memorial Day is a time to remember, to honor, and to reflect on the cost of peace and freedom.

As we gather this weekend, we also remember the hope we have in Christ—life, love, and peace that endure.

You are invited to join us for worship this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. as we come together in prayer, scripture, and community. All are welcome.

Yesterday we celebrated the retirement of Pastor John and Kathy with deep gratitude for their years of faithful service. We send them with love into this next chapter and pray God’s continued blessings on their journey.

As we enter this time of transition, please note:
• Until an interim pastor arrives, Pastor Bert Williams will cover pastoral emergencies. He can be reached at 563-387-7093.

• Pastor John is no longer able to perform acts of ministry at Cross Lutheran Church. He may return for events and celebrations, but not in a pastoral or worship leadership role.

Looking ahead:
Join us Sunday, May 31 for worship in the park as we gather with our UCC neighbors for the annual Good Neighbor Day’s Ecumenical Worship at Roberts Park.
