So the first Sunday of the month has snuck up on us. But we all get an extra hour of sleep Saturday night, so...
BRING A FRIEND SUNDAY!

Well, looks like there is a new Sheriff in town!

Preparing for Sunday:
Message - SURVIVOR

Ruth 1:19-22

19 So the two of them went on until they came to Bethlehem. And when they came to Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them. And the women said, “Is this Naomi?” 20 She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. 21 I went away full, and the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi, when the Lord has testified against me and the Almighty has brought calamity upon me?”

22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabite her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. And they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest.

In our 'blessing quest', most of us have probably taken the easy route. Blessing family, friends, people we like and admire is easy.
Now, let's be the Father's Children. Bless those who frustrate us, irritate us, perhaps even make our lives difficult.
And don't simply 'bless' in words of observance; from the depths of our hearts and resources, let us 'Bless'!

Matt 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

With the election at hand, and as Ambassadors of Christ, let us take time to review the candidates from a biblical viewpoint, then vote.
