It's okay to grieve and be thankful. It's okay to feel sad and happy. It's okay to feel empty and full. It's okay to say yes and no. It's okay to feel however you need to feel. Be kind to yourself during this Thanksgiving holiday. ❤️

Unfortunately, our society isn't kind and patient with the grieving process. Most people want you to "hurry up" and finish your grieving and get back to how you were. The truth is those that have a loss will never be that person they were before - there is a new normal to find. When people ask you what you need or to let them know if there is anything they can do to help, tell them... yes, I need patience and presence. ❤️ Grief is a journey no one wants to be on!
