SPECIAL LIVE MASS BROADCAST ON CATHOLIC RADIO!

Bishop Jacques will celebrate a Votive Mass for Blessed Fulton J. Sheen on Thursday, Oct. 29, at noon at the Basilica of St. Peter, 1529 Assembly St. in Columbia, South Carolina. Archbishop Sheen became one of the most beloved preachers in American history. His Sunday radio program "The Catholic Hour" reached an estimated 4 million listeners at its peak, and his weekly television series, "Life Is Worth Living," drew some 30 million viewers. He also served as national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies from 1950 to 1966. The miracle that led to his beatification was the 2010 revival of an infant born without a pulse, after his family sought Sheen's intercession.

Radiothon Content Schedule

Following the major themes from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, we will present the Church's Magisterial Teaching. Thursday will be an in-depth look at the Nicene Creed. Then we'll present teachings about God the Father, Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Marian Dogmas. Finally, Steve Wood will be the guest host beginning at 4:00 PM.

On Friday, we'll cover the Church's Teaching about Angels and Saints, the Sacraments, the cardinal virtues, and sin. Then we'll dive deep into the Ten Commandments and the Our Father. For a free version of the Catechism, the link is:
