Learning from each other is one way we grow in love and compassion. In light of this, we invite you to a special screening of the Our Daily Bread documentary Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom, this Sunday, June 21 at 6:00pm in the Chapel. In this powerful film, you’ll discover how Scripture shaped the faith of enslaved people, visit the church where America’s first Juneteenth celebration took place, and learn why newly liberated men and women credited God for their freedom. Following the documentary, there will be a Q&A with our Mercy & Missions Team Leader, Celeste McDonough and Pastor Rasool Berry to help us process the film and its message together.

We also have the privilege today to look at how God's life has been made known through one of our longtime church members. We are delighted to again partner with Upcycle Bikes for this bike drive. Give your old bike new life this Saturday!

Give your old bike a new life! Calvary Church is hosting a bike drive for us this Saturday, June 6 from 9 am-12 pm.

Swing by to donate your old or used adult bike in any condition, and we’ll refurbish it to provide at no cost to a community member with financial constraints who needs access to transportation.

We’ll also be accepting bike parts and saddles in good condition.

The Jerusalem Project has partnered with Carrickmacross Baptist Church in Ireland. Our team will be serving alongside the church in a worship night and having a booth at a three-day community festival. Our primary mission is to foster Calvary’s relationship with Carrickmacross Baptist Church, setting them up to be a blessing and offer connection to those in their community. Please join us in prayer as we set out to serve and that we would be a blessing for God’s glory!
