Do you have a heart for single moms? If your answer is YES we would love for you to prayerfully consider volunteering with our Flourish Single Moms Ministry in some capacity this year!

There are a variety of ways you can help—
• Surprising the Moms with special gifts on their birthdays
• Joining our prayer team and praying over their weekly needs
• Making new-baby and/or get-well meals
• Organizing a special craft for the moms
• Sharing your personal testimony

Calling all Single Mamas! 📣 Registration is now OPEN for our Flourish Single Moms Ministry at Calvary Church starting September 10! 💕

We are thrilled to be able to support moms in all seasons of motherhood, in their faith, in community, and even provide assistance with some of the tangible needs so many single moms face. We are also very excited to share the wonderful new curriculum we will be journeying through together with moms, called “Cradles of Grace”, created by the Pregnancy Resource Center.

Flourish Single Moms Ministry is a community of moms, rooted in faith and growing together at Calvary Church. Whether you’re navigating motherhood as a single mom or alongside a spouse, you are welcome here. Our mission is to help every mom develop deep spiritual roots, blossom in all areas of life, and thrive in her unique motherhood journey. Through meaningful connection, encouragement, and Christ-centered support, we believe that when moms flourish, families do too!

We will meet weekly on Wednesdays at Calvary Church, 707 E Beltline Ave NE, at 6:30pm-7:45pm (with free dinner for you and your kids at 5:30pm). Childcare is provided. We start September 10th!!! 🎉

Say hello to our newly re-branded ministry for single moms! In 2020 God led Christina to bring a single mom’s ministry into my church (Calvary Church), using a curriculum called “Embrace Grace”. Since that time, God has grown a sweet community of moms, as well as a passionate team of additional leaders, to minister to single moms at Calvary. This September 2025 marks our 5 year anniversary loving on single moms! 💕

This Summer God led us to a fresh new name for this ministry, now called “FLOURISH”. We are thrilled to be able to support moms in all seasons of motherhood, in their faith, in community, and even provide assistance with some of the tangible needs so many single moms face. We are also very excited to share the wonderful new curriculum we will be journeying through together with moms, called “Cradles of Grace”, created by the Pregnancy Resource Center.

So thankful for the AMAZING and oh so blessed first semester of Embrace Life we shared with so many single mamas these past 20 weeks!! 💕🙌🏼 Praising God for all that He did in so many of our hearts and lives. One of our single moms just had her baby this past weekend! 👶🏻🍼

Please pray for her during this transition and for all of our moms. We plan to organize a few playdates this summer because the community that has formed has been so sweet!

We can’t wait to start up again in the Fall, but have decided to meet up for a few extra weeks with our current moms until programming at Calvary Church comes to an official end in May. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this beautiful ministry through your prayers, meals, and more. 🙏🏻 Being involved in this ministry (since we started Embrace Grace in 2020) has been a joy & great privilege for each of us leaders!

My Daughter,

I see you. I see the love you pour out, the strength you carry, and the silent tears you’ve cried when no one else was watching. You are never alone—I am with you in every moment, challenge, and victory.

Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! May you receive and believe the blessing and greatest gift this world will ever receive—Jesus Christ. He left perfect heaven to be born as a humble baby into this broken world. He would have come and gone to the cross to die even if only to save YOU. 🫶🏼 That is the BIG LOVE of God! May you receive Him wholeheartedly this Christmas and experience His true love firsthand, friend. ❤️

Shouting out all the single mamas! You are amazing and BRAVE! You are SO loved by God and you are the world to your kids. You deserve a place of community, belonging and opportunities to hear each week that your story is just beginning. The best *is* yet to come!

At Embrace Life at Calvary Church, we know you have overcome many obstacles and hurdles as a single mom. You may feel like you have a hard time dreaming for your future, when you’re just trying to make it through the day. Even though this journey may not be easy, we believe you can still have your baby and your dreams too. You are strong and you don’t have to walk alone!

As an unmarried mom, there’s a place for you in our Embrace Life support group. You’ll make new friends in similar situations and have leaders that will guide and empower you. We are in this with you! The Embrace Life program equips single moms to flourish in their relationship with God. The focus of this group is living an abundant life in Christ, because life abundant means more than just “surviving“ but thriving! You will learn spiritual and practical ways to help navigate your way through life while using the Holy Spirit as your compass. Whatever season of life you’re in (pregnant, with babies, or if you have older children) we would LOVE 💗 for you to join our group!

We begin a new group on September 11 and will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings for 20 weeks. Childcare and dinner are included! Join us for dinner and a fun time connecting before class, starting at 5:30pm. Embrace Life will start promptly at 6:20pm each week downstairs in the children's area and wrap up at 7:45pm.
