We will be having a VBS informational meeting on Tuesday, June 9th at 6:00pm in the Parlor. We are still in need of volunteers so if you are interested, I ask that you please attend this meeting where I will go over the week’s activities and what you can expect as a volunteer.

Faith trusts God before it sees the answer. Most of us like certainty, plans, and guarantees, but faith calls us to trust God’s voice even when the storm is still around us. Peter did not step out of the boat because the water looked safe; he stepped out because Jesus said, “Come.” In the same way, God may not be asking us to understand the whole journey today, but He may be asking us to trust Him with the next step. Ask yourself: what is my next step? How can you step into pure obedience to God and the plans he has for you? Leave behind the shiny things of this world and have faith in what is unseen. Have faith in the One that loves you more than anything or anyone and allow His peace to wash over you as you trust in him.
