Happy Wednesday!
This Wednesday, we launched a new season of Wednesdays with opportunities for men, married couples, and moms to connect and grow.
We believe that community strengthens our faith, our families, and our purpose. This is only the beginning—every Wednesday is a new opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together.
There’s a place for you at Wednesdays.

Progress can feel disappointing when we compare it with what came before.
In Haggai 2, God’s people had been rebuilding for only 26 days when discouragement began to take hold. God redirected their attention from the size of the project to the certainty of His presence.
Faithfulness is not validated by scale, speed, or applause. Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is return to the assignment in front of you and trust God with what it will become.
Where is God asking you to remain faithful this week?

Be Strong and Work

Only twenty six days after God’s people returned to rebuilding the temple, discouragement began to set in. What they were building looked small compared with what had stood there before, but God did not tell them to recreate the past. He told them to be strong, keep working, and remember that He was with them. Haggai 2 reminds us that the present moment is not enough to determine the significance of faithful obedience, so we must trust God with what we cannot yet see.

Today we heard a powerful reminder from Haggai 2:1–9: don’t measure what God is doing today by what He did yesterday.

What may look small or unfinished could simply mean God is still building.

Be strong. Keep going. Keep doing the work.

“I am with you,” declares the Lord.

Some of the most meaningful spiritual growth happens away from a stage—in shared meals, honest conversations, and moments when someone feels truly seen.
God can use your presence in someone’s life in ways you may never fully see.
Who has He placed within your reach?

I Am With You... Always

In Haggai 1:12–15, God’s people finally respond to His Word in obedience. As they fear the LORD and turn toward the work He has given them, God assures them, “I am with you,” and stirs the whole remnant to begin together. That same pattern carries forward into the mission Jesus gives His church: make disciples. We have been given work to do, and Jesus has promised that we do not do it alone.

Haggai 1 offers a familiar call to God’s people: Prioritizing God’s kingdom and participating in the mission over building our own.

Obedience 🤝 Discipleship

08/28/2026

Haggai isn’t simply a story about rebuilding a temple—it’s a confrontation of the heart.
Their delayed obedience revealed what had taken first place. The same question remains for us today:
Does the way we live reflect that God is worthy?
Obedience isn’t just completing a task; it’s an act of worship.
What has God been asking you to rebuild?
