As we reflect on our freedoms, let us remember that the greatest freedom comes from surrendering to Christ. When we give generously, we break the chains of materialism and selfishness that hold us captive.

This year, the focus of Big Summer Give is a global one, Missions Of Hope International, located in Nairobi, Kenya. We are focusing specifically on helping MOHI build a fence for a school in rural Kenya. This fence is important because without it, they can’t safely secure the school.

The kids at Pathway are eager to make a difference! They are being challenged to raise money by doing creative things this summer. They may set up a lemonade stand or do household chores, they may sell their toys at a garage sale or give directly out of their piggy banks.

Let’s be spurred on to give with that same kind of surrendered and child-like faith that they have!
Because like them we want God to change us and we want God to change our world!
