When life gets hard, do you still have hope that others can see? Peter's words in 1 Peter 3 remind us that real hope isn't about pretending everything is fine. It's about being honest about the pain while staying anchored in God's faithfulness. When you refuse to retaliate, when you forgive instead of holding a grudge, when you grieve but still trust God, people notice. That's the kind of witness that can't be faked.

Religion says try harder. Grace says receive. The woman at the well came with an empty jar, but Jesus knew her real need had nothing to do with water. Whatever you've been chasing to feel whole, success, approval, pleasure, it will leave you thirsty again. Only Jesus can fill that place, because you were made for Him.
