Have you ever struggled with discontentment? Have you ever felt like you are never enough? That there is more to the Christian life than you are experiencing? Have you ever wrestled with a lack of purpose or vision?
As we study Colossians and Philemon, we will walk in the shoes of the Colossian believers and discover that they, too, struggled with discontentment. They were being told by outside influences that there was more to being a Christian than simply believing in Jesus Christ.
Through this letter, you will hear Paul’s love and compassion as he reminds them that Jesus Christ is sufficient for all their needs. He is in all things, above all things, before all things. He is all things to everyone who believes!
“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught...”
Colossians 2:6–7
Paul’s words are just as necessary for Christians today. They remind us that in Christ we have all that we need. Come dive into this study and become more rooted and established in your faith so that nothing will shake your faith, cloud your vision, or rob you of your thanksgiving.
Join us September 1–2 through November 10–11 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30–8:30 p.m. or Wednesday mornings from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Childcare is available on Wednesdays only.
Each week we will gather in the Worship Center for worship and the teaching of God’s Word, followed by small group time where community, encouragement, and discipleship are experienced.
