Can you believe VBS starts in just 2 weeks??

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Thursday's FPC and FPDS Spring Picnic and backyard ribbon cutting! It was a beautiful day to celebrate with some of our favorite people. With friends, games, a bounce house, and face painting, the kids (and kids at heart!) had a blast running around our amazing new turf while the grown ups took advantage of the picnic tables and shade to sit back and listen to Sarah Spain of Landslide: A Memphis Tribute To Fleetwood Mac.

The silent auction had a few fierce competitions and we are so thankful to the businesses in our community who donated: Novel Memphis, 901 Comics, Chick-fil-A Germantown Pkwy., LaBella Skin Bar, where_is_frances, Elite Nail Spa, Briza Restaurant , Germantown Shoutouts, and the Jameson Family. All proceeds go to the 2027 Rise Against Hunger fund so your donations and bids will make a big difference in someone's life!

Also: an extra special thank you to the Farmington Pres and FPDS staff and volunteers for all your hard work making this picnic happen!

It's official! Rev. Rebecca is standing for Co-Moderator of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) General Assembly with Rev. Chris Peters, Senior Pastor/Head of Staff of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, NE.

Rev. Rebecca is the Teaching Elder Commissioner for the Presbytery of the Mid-South to the 227th General Assembly, where they will stand for the role of co-moderators. The language of "stand" is intentionally used to as a reminder that this is not a race or a popularity contest. The Holy Spirit calls and equips individuals for service.

The Rev. Rebecca Luter and the Rev. Chris Peters will stand for Co-Moderators of the 227th General Assembly, the fourth team to announce their candidacies. Peters is the Senior Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Luter is the head pastor at Farmington Presbyterian Church in Germantown, Tennessee. Our church picnic and backyard ribbon cutting is fast approaching! Join us Thursday, May 14, 5-7pm for live music with Sarah Spain of Landslide, hamburgers and hot dogs, face painting, a bounce house, and more! Our Silent Auction to benefit Rise Against Hunger has some fantastic items from , , , , , , just to name a few!

The cost is $10/adult and $5/child with a family maximum of $30.

A HUGE thank you to our Farmington Friends and Family!! We had an amazing turnout Sunday at Rise Against Hunger. I don't have the final meal count but we filled every bag RAH sent AND in record time. Once we find out where the meals go, we'll post the information. Thank you again to Farmington Church and Farmington Presbyterian Day School for bringing your friends, family, and even the Houston Pom Team!

This Sunday is Rise Against Hunger so sign up or just show up with your friends and family at 12:30pm for pizza, fun, and doing some good in the world! Also, mark your calendars for the Farmington Pres and FPDS Spring Picnic and Backyard Ribbon Cutting on May 14th, 5-7pm. We'll have food, games, a bounce house, face painting, a silent auction to benefit Rise Against Hunger, and more. If you or your business would like to donate to our silent auction, send us a dm, we'd love to hear from you!

Rise Against Hunger is one week away! Next Sunday, April 26, we will package 20,000 meals for familes in need around the world! We'll have a pizza lunch after church (around 12:30 for those who are coming from home) and we usually wrap up by 4pm. We have seated, standing, and runner roles for anyone 5 and up so bring your friends and family. Sign up or just show up, we would love to have you. Also, this event counts towards volunteer hours for school, work, or an organization.
