John 16:22
So with you: now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

The joy that comes with the presence of the Lord is a joy that cannot be taken away. When we remember what Christ has done for us, and think about how his grace has changed the course of our lives, we can't help but be filled with joy.

We may struggle on some days to keep side of the joy of our salvation. But a day is coming when Jesus will return to this earth - and on that day, we will experience our joy and full!

Thank you Lord, for the joy of our salvation. Thank you that, in your presence, our joy cannot be taken away from us. We look forward to the day when we will see you face to face, and fullness of joy. Thank you Lord for your love your mercy and your grace. Amen

Job 37:5
"God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding."

Thunder is powerful, mysterious, and commanding. It's a little Wonder that God's voice is described in this way. Throughout history God has done great things, and he is able to do great things today. Just like thunder, we may not fully comprehend how God works, but we know that he is present and powerful. Trust him to do great things.

Dear Lord, you created the heavens and the earth. You are powerful and worthy of our praise. Thank you for doing great things in our lives and in the world around us. Teach us to worship you as the awesome, powerful God that you are even through the valleys of life. Thank you Lord for your love, your mercy, and your grace. Amen

Psalm 63:3-5
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

There are times in our lives when we really need answers or a breakthrough, and sometimes we just want to be blessed our loving father says to simply ask.

God wants to give us good gifts. We may not want to ask for things because we feel they are too much, or too specific. But God is able to handle our request - he won't give us things that will bring us harm or that we will use for our selfish gain. He knows what is best for us. His love is better than life itself, and he knows exactly how to satisfy us.

Dear Lord, there are things that we need and many things that we want. We ask you to give us the things that we need, that we can use to glorify Your name Lord. We know that you are a loving father who wants us to praise your name and to glorify your name. Thank you Lord for your love, and your mercy.
Amen
