This past Sunday, Pastor Anna reminded us that our work is about so much more than simply earning a paycheck. ❤️

As we celebrated Labor Day weekend, we were reminded that God can use the work of our hands—whether at our jobs, in our homes, in our church, or in our community for His glory.

Our worth is not determined by our job title, how much we accomplish, or how busy we are. Our identity is found in Christ. Whatever God has placed before us, may we do it faithfully, serve others well, and remember who we are ultimately working for.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23 🙏

May we carry that reminder with us throughout this week: Work faithfully. Serve willingly. And give God the glory. ❤️

What a beautiful reminder from God this morning. ❤️

Today, Pastor Anna shared a message from the story of Hagar called “The God Who Sees Me.”

In Genesis 16:13, Hagar gives God a name: “You are the God who sees me.”

There are seasons when we may feel forgotten, overlooked, rejected, or alone. We may find ourselves in a wilderness we never expected to walk through. But Hagar’s story reminds us that God sees us in the wilderness. He hears our cries. He knows exactly where we are. And He has not forgotten us.

Sometimes the provision we are praying for is closer than we realize, we simply need God to open our eyes to see the well He has already provided.

And as the Church, we are also called to notice the people others overlook. May we have eyes to see the hurting, the lonely, and the forgotten and remind them that they are seen and loved.

Whatever you are walking through today, remember:
You are seen.
You are heard.
You are known.
And you are never alone.

We serve the God who sees us. ❤️

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." – Psalm 46:1

Life has a way of bringing storms we never expected. Fear, uncertainty, loss, and hardship can leave us wondering where to turn. The good news is that we don't have to face those moments alone. God is our safe place, our strength when we are weak, and our constant help no matter what we are facing.

Today Pastor Anna shared that there is hope, there is peace and there is refuge in Christ.

We would love to worship with you! Invite a friend and come expecting God to move. Services start at 10:30 am Sunday mornings.

The Ellen Moore Mission is hosting a breakfast this Saturday, July 18 at 8:00 a.m. for pastors and/or a lay representative from each church in Fairfield and our surrounding area. The breakfast will be held in the church fellowship hall at 609 W. Delaware St. in Fairfield. Invitations have been delivered to nearly 60 churches in the area. We have reached out to churches in Fairfield, Geff, Cisne, Mill Shoals, Wayne City, Albion and rural areas in between.

The breakfast is being held to share the exciting news that a new Christian school, EMbraced Christian Academy, is being established to serve Wayne County and nearby communities. The K-8th grade school is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2027. The church’s vision is to offer it’s under-utilized educational building to the community as a place dedicated to Christian education and year-round services for children.

If we accidentally missed getting an invitation to your pastor, please know that this invitation is extended to your church also. Pastors and laypersons who are planning to attend, please make your breakfast meeting reservation by calling or texting Pastor Anna Schwarzlose at 618-302-4556.

Pastor Anna broke down the Lord's Prayer for us today, reminding us that it is so much more than words we recite, it is a model for how we are to approach God every day.

"Our Father Who art in heaven" reminds us that we belong to Him.

"Hallowed be Thy name" calls us to worship and honor Him.

"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done" teaches us to surrender our plans to His purpose.

"Give us this day our daily bread" reminds us to trust Him for our needs.

"Forgive us our trespasses" points us to God's grace and mercy.

"As we forgive those who trespass against us" challenges us to extend that same grace to others.

"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" encourages us to depend on God's strength and protection.

What a powerful reminder that prayer is not just about asking,it is about relationship, trust, surrender, forgiveness, and dependence on God.

Thank you, Pastor Anna, for sharing God's Word and helping us grow deeper in our walk with Christ.

"For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

What a powerful and timely word Pastor Anna shared on faith and fully trusting God’s plan for our lives.

We were reminded that faith is not simply believing that God exists, it is surrendering our fears, our doubts, and our need to control the future, and choosing to trust that God is working all things together for our good.

Even when we cannot see the path ahead, we can trust the One who does.

Pastor Anna challenged us to:
• Trust God’s character
• Stand on His promises
• Pray with expectation
• Surrender control
• Walk in obedience
• Wait patiently
• Remember His faithfulness

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6

Thank you, Pastor Anna, for this encouraging message that reminded us that God’s plan is always greater than our own, and that true peace comes when we place our full confidence in Him.

There’s something so powerful about coming to the table of communion. Today, Pastor Anna shared such a meaningful message that really put things into perspective.

Communion isn’t just a ritual, it’s a reminder. A reminder of Christ’s sacrifice, His deep love for us, and the grace that covers every part of our lives. It calls us to pause, reflect, and realign our hearts with Him.

As we take the bread and the cup, we remember that we are never alone, never forgotten, and never beyond His reach. What a beautiful gift we’ve been given.
So grateful for this message and the opportunity to draw closer to Him. ❤️

Today Pastor Anna reminded us of 2 Corinthians 3:17 "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." Not just freedom from sin, but freedom to live fully in who God has called us to be. In His presence, chains break, fear fades, and purpose is revealed. We are so thankful for the freedom found in Him!

Today Pastor Anna brought a powerful message about bringing holiness back into the church.

Not a holiness based on rules or appearances, but a true change of heart living set apart for God in our everyday lives.

It was a reminder that holiness means drawing closer to Him, removing the things that stand in the way, and allowing His grace to transform us from the inside out.

Lord, help us not just to hear the Word, but to live it. ❤️
