As we honored Pastor's Wives Appreciation Month, we came together to express our deepest gratitude to Jessie Harper, wife of our Pastor, and Allie Brickey, wife of our Assistant Pastor, for their tireless efforts and support that profoundly impact the advancement of God's kingdom. We surprised them with a special celebration during the Women's Sunday Bible study, showcasing our heartfelt appreciation in a moment they least expected.

A few months ago, the ladies of the church embarked on a mission to spread hope and kindness to the homeless in the Tri-Cities area doing bags filled with essentials. Initially, the goal was possibly 20 bags. However, Amanda Rhoton, the leader of the project, prayerfully suggested, that we not set a number of bags and for us to see what the Lord would provide. When approached for a few snacks, Billy Bledsoe, the manager of Food Lion, graciously offered a generous donation of vital food items. Today a dedicated team of Food Lion workers, some their families and Heritage workers gathered to fill 100 bags! We're deeply grateful to Food Lion and the members of Heritage for being vessels of God's love and kindness. Lesson of the project, do not put a limit on what God can do! Let him lead.
