"Well done my good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23

And while this is most certainly true for our dear brother in Christ, the Rev. Paul Young, his hope was never in his own goodness but in the goodness of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the gift of your faith; it was and remains a faith that has strengthened countless souls.

First Lutheran Church, Galion, Ohio, with funds raised through the Community Connections Expo, donated $600 to support Project Noelle and its mission.

Keli Clark lost her daughter, Noelle, to a fentanyl overdose in 2017. Not only was she stricken with grief, she was left to begin what she calls the hardest work of her life: helping Noelle's grieving children make sense of something even grown adults cannot. Seeking resources to help, she found almost nothing for the children that addiction has left in its wake.

Keli started Project Noelle in December 2017. What began as one grandmother making sure a few children had a Christmas has grown into a team of volunteers serving families across 43 counties in three states. The mission has never changed: show these children, in every way we can, that they they are loved.

First Lutheran Church, through Community Connections Expo, is bringing the love of Jesus Christ to the children served by Project Noelle. If you hate the opioid epidemic and want to make the love of Jesus known to the little ones left in its wake, visit www.projectnoelle.com to learn more and support their important work.
