✨🧹 HELP US KEEP OUR CHURCH BEAUTIFUL 💒🙏

At St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel welcomed into a clean, bright, and peaceful space. 💒✨

But maintaining our church home is a BIG job — and we can’t do it alone. ❤️

We are looking for a small team of 6–8 volunteers to help straighten and organize the envelopes and missals in the pews each Friday morning. 📖🕊️

⏰ Just a couple of hours
🧽 Light work
🤝 Great fellowship
💛 A beautiful way to serve our parish community

As the saying goes… many hands make lighter work! 🙌

Even if you can’t join us on Fridays, you can still help by:
✔️ Taking bulletins home after Mass
✔️ Returning envelopes and missals to their holders
✔️ Helping keep the pews neat and welcoming

Together, we can keep God’s house beautiful for everyone who enters. ✨🙏

📞 If you’d like to volunteer, please call the parish office: 239-334-2161

✨ He is Risen… and He is Ascended ✨

Today we celebrate the Ascension of Our Lord — when Jesus returned to the Father in glory, opening the gates of Heaven for us and reminding us that we are called to keep our eyes fixed on Him.

Before ascending, Jesus gave His disciples a mission: to go forth, share the Gospel, and trust that He would always remain with them.

As we celebrate this holy day, may we remember that Christ calls each of us to live with faith, hope, and courage as His witnesses in the world. 🤍

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses…”
— Acts 1:8

🎓✨ Congratulations to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic School Class of 2026! ✨🎓

Today we celebrate our incredible 8th graders as they graduate and begin a new chapter in their academic journey. Many of these students have called St. Francis Xavier home for 10 and even 11 years, growing not only in knowledge, but in faith, kindness, leadership, and love for Christ.

We are so proud of the young men and women you have become. Your dedication to academic excellence, your service to others, and the Christ-like qualities you have shown each day have left a lasting impact on our school and parish family.

As you move on to high school and beyond, remember that God walks with you every step of the way. Continue to shine your light, lead with compassion, and trust in the plans He has for you.

📖 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

Congratulations, graduates! We pray God blesses you abundantly in this next phase of your journey. 💙💛

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who nurture, guide, protect, and love with a mother’s heart.

Today we celebrate moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, foster moms, godmothers, spiritual mothers, and every “stand-in mom” whose love reflects God’s tenderness. Thank you for the countless ways you care for others and help faith grow in our families and parish community.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” — Book of Proverbs 31:26

May God bless you abundantly today and always. 💐

Today, our parish joyfully celebrated the beautiful tradition of the Crowning of Mary 🌸👑

This cherished devotion, often held during the month of May, honors the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven and our loving Mother. Rooted in centuries of Catholic tradition, the May Crowning is a simple yet powerful reminder of Mary’s humility, faith, and her special place in the life of the Church.

We were especially blessed to have our First Communion children take part in this celebration—placing flowers at Mary’s feet and crowning her with love and reverence. Their participation made this moment even more meaningful, as we welcome them more deeply into our parish family.

May we continue to look to Mary as our example, trusting in her gentle guidance as she always leads us closer to her Son.

“Let it be done to me according to your word.” – Luke 1:38
