Before Labor Day existed, God had already given work a purpose.

Work was part of God’s good design from the very beginning—and so was rest. Whatever we do, we have the opportunity to do it with purpose, excellence, and as an act of worship.

So today, take a moment to thank God for the work He’s given you… and then go rest. You’ve earned it. God modeled that, too.

On Sunday, we introduced our newest ministry at FCC—our Ministry Residency Program!

Meet Tallulah, Garrett, and Noah, the first FCC Residents. These three young people have committed to learning what it means to serve Jesus through vocational ministry. As they earn their ministry degrees online, they’ll also serve alongside our staff, explore ministry areas where God may be calling them to serve, and gain the experience and skills they need to pursue a future in full-time ministry.
