Good morning TBS and welcome to our Wednesday. It is a bit cloudy and overcast this morning but don’t let that keep you down in the dumps! As I look at the 10 day forecast it seems to be quite nice for this time of year. I can remember years ago, early September was quite the month of weather change. I think the seasons have shifted the past few years, giving us some wonderful warm fall days. These are the ones to enjoy and soak up…..if you can!

Today is a chapel day. Darryl Mayes and Pastor Leeds will be teaching God’s Word this morning! Pray that the gospel and truth would pe*****te the lives of these young people. Also continue to pray for friends of Trinity: Roger F., Jean W., Carolyn O., Russ H., and others as they continue to fight their own health battles. We can praise the Lord for the strength and energy Pastor Leeds continues to have despite his treatment. This is an answer to prayer!

Tonight is another AWANA night! Be ready to start by 6:30pm. Looking forward to the busy evening….

Tomorrow there is soccer practice for both teams. Friday the varsity will take on NEWCHAA at 4:30pm at the soccer complex. I am sure they will be a tough match up. Looking forward to the contest!

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Tuesday. Today we have Quick & Smart Photography in the house to take our annual school pictures. Please make sure to bring in the picture order form. All students have to bring in the slip, but only those ordering pictures have to pay. I appreciate your attention to detail with this. It is good to have these done about a month earlier than we normally do…Don’t forget to smile!

Here is the FDL Fire Update:

PRACTICE/GAME
MS Tuesday Practice 3:30-5
Thursday - Game against Pearce (HOME) kickoff 4pm - Field 11

HS Tuesday/Thursday Practice 3:30-5:30pm
Friday - Game against NEWCHAA (HOME) kickoff 4:30pm - Field 4

We are still in need of volunteers to fill line judging for high school home games. Please let us know if you can help and we will send a link to allow you to choose dates. We also have a candy/popcorn fundraiser that needs at least two parents to head up distribution and ordering. Please be on the lookout for pizza fundraiser information soon.

Don’t forget about the Dutch Apple Pie Fundraiser coming at the end of this month! Orders can be made soon! Looking forward to a great fundraiser again. Also, don’t forget about the upcoming days off of school. September 21-22 & October 8-9. Make sure they are on your calendar! I can’t forget to say that Grandparent’s Day is also just around the corner - October 16th! Time to send those invitations out!

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Friday. Hard to believe that we are 3 weeks complete! Last night the Varsity Soccer team traveled to DeForest to play against MAHS. I am happy to report that we won 8-0. A highlight came later in the game when Weston cleared the ball from the goal and Taven was able to get a good touch on the ball and scored his first goal! Congratulations to the team They are now 1 - 1 (.500 / win streak at 1) on the season.

Continue to pray for those in need. Roger F., Dan L., Russ H., Jean W. and others who are hurting these days. God is good in all of this even when we are not seeing it. Psalm 32:10 “Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but the steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts the Lord”. These listed, I know, trust the Lord. This means his love and mercy is with them, surrounding them tighter than anything man can surround them with. Continue to pray!

Hope you enjoy your 3 DAY WEEKEND! No School on Monday - Labor Day. We will return to school on Tuesday, but don’t forget that we have School Pictures! Order forms have been given out so don’t forget those. I have attached a copy in case you need to print off another copy for orders!

Good morning and welcome to Thursday. It’s another muggy one out there today and I did see some thunderstorms just south of FDL this morning. I would assume that we will get a little rain sometime this mid-morning if things hold together. I don’t think it will be a full washout but we need to be prepared anyway. Today is a normal day including an Away game for the Varsity soccer team. They will be playing MAHS in Deforest, WI today at 5:00pm. I am praying that the weather holds off so that they can get the game in tonight. It would be most unfortunate to drive all the way there only to have a lightning show ruin the match! Directions: 4174 County Rd. V DeForest, WI (1hr 11 min from TBS).

Picture day is on 📸TUESDAY of next week. It might be easy to forget, especially with celebrating Labor Day on Monday. Students should have an order form home by now. Everybody needs to fill this out even if you are NOT buying a package. Name and grade are the most important. Obviously if you are planning on purchasing a package, payment must be included in the envelope provided by Quck N Smart Photography!

TBS Nation,

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Wednesday. We have a bit of a break from the heat this morning which is nice, however it looks to be a bit wet….maybe we can dodge those sprinkles and enjoy the breaks outside today. Yesterday was the season opener for the soccer teams. Both teams lost their games but the hard work and effort was there for sure. I can see the skills developing already in some of the players and I am looking forward to watching the final games to se the improvement.

Today is chapel day! Awana also starts today. Looking forward to a great time with that this evening. Registration will be open at 6:00pm for parents. Awana opening will start at 6:30pm. Hope to see you all there.

Continue to pray for Pastor Leeds and his ongoing treatment. Also, pray for Roger and Jackie F. Roger is undergoing more testing for his cancer. Pray that the treatment will be successful and that his body responds to it well. Finally, pray for Russ H. He is a member at TBC and is recovering from some heart issues. Pray that he can get out of Rehab and get back home.

Lot’s of things on my mind this morning. Lot’s of people on my mind this morning. Lot’s to do this morning. Just lot’s………

Week three begins today….Hope you are ready for it. We have a full week ahead, however we will also enjoy a three day weekend because of Labor Day. I am fully going to take advantage of that and spend a little time getting those projects done outside before the cooler weather sets in. This week ahead is a full week. Soccer games begin this week and the first home game is on Tuesday. The MS team will play at 5:00pm and the HS will play at 5:30. Thursday the HS will travel up to Deforest, WI to play Madison Area Home school at 5:00pm. It will be a later night for them.

Just want to remind all of you that Picture Day is NEXT TUESDAY. I will be passing out Quick & Smart Photography information to the Jr & Sr High today. Elementary should already have this brought home. EVERY student must bring back a paper even if you are not getting a package. Class Photos and names are important and need to be turned in so that those who do order those packages have a correct class photo.

Here is the Soccer Update as of August 27th:

PRACTICE
No practice today for either team
MS is adding an additional practice to next week's schedule. Plan to meet on Monday, August 31 from 3:30-5 to help the team prepare for their first game Tuesday night.

GAMES
MS Tuesday, September 1 at 5pm
Plan to arrive 30 minutes ahead of kickoff
HS Tuesday, September 1 at 5:30pm (HOME)/Thursday, September 3 at 5pm (AWAY)
Plan to arrive 45 minutes ahead of kickoff

Reminder to bring both white and black jerseys, white soccer socks and black soccer socks, shin guards, and cleats to every game

PICTURES
Team pictures will be taken before Tuesday's games. Middle school will be photographed promptly at 4:30 and high school team photos will start shortly after. We are asking the highschoolers to be at the fields at 4:30 on Tuesday in order to give enough time for pictures and warmups. High school seniors will also get solo pictures taken during this time.

TEAM BUILDING
Nora and the Veldmans are inviting the high school team to their house for dinner and a bonfire following Monday's practice. Hot dogs, mac n cheese, and smores will be provided. Bring a drink or dessert to share. Bring a lawn chair as well. Please text Alicia at (920)226-0745 to let her know who is attending.

VOLUNTEERS
We have not received many volunteer forms. Please let us know where your family is willing to help. We have several needs including fundraising and line judging.
