Thank you so much for caring about our community in such a tangible, real, and actionable way - this is the kind of service and love that gives us hope!!
I'll be heading by Sheffield Public House to support - take a trip down and do the same. Even if you don't cover someone's meal, buying from local establishments like these supports your community and shows kindness to your neighbors 🩵

As most of you have noticed, there are some BIG, exciting changes coming to the Pub, and we are so pumped to share them with y'all!

With that being said, we are happy to introduce our new community project: "Leave a Meal, Share a Table"

Here at the Pub, we believe community means showing up for one another.

Starting now, you’ll notice a new section on our lobby bulletin board called “Leave a Meal, Share a Table.” It’s a simple way to help make sure no neighbor has to go without a warm meal.

Here’s how it works:

👉 Want to help?
You can purchase a guest check from our bulletin board for someone in the community who may need a meal. Once purchased, we’ll officially stamp it, making it redeemable at The Pub.

👉 Need a meal?
No questions. No judgment. Simply take a stamped guest check from the board and redeem it for a meal.

Whether it’s a veteran, first responder, a family going through a hard time, someone between paychecks, or just a neighbor who could use a little kindness, we believe everyone deserves a seat at the table.

A small gesture can make a big difference, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that looks out for one another!

We talk about our volunteers all the time - the village they are for our guests, the village they are for us, and the village they are for each other.
We tell them we are grateful. We tell them they are invaluable.
We wanted to show them too.

Our first volunteer appreciation dinner was the least we could do for the ones who kept our guests safe, made the feel loved, and showed them how greatly they are cared for. But we wanted to show them our appreciation, so we did it in the way we knew how.

We were so grateful for the chance to be with our village again - we missed those who couldn’t make it and we were joyful for the ones who did.
We laughed together, cried together, reminisced together, and enjoyed each other.

Our committee was honored.
Our program director was humbled.
Our volunteers were lifted up.

Special shout-out to our volunteers of the year - Ginger Long and Allie Scott - we are so blessed for the zeal, care, and hope you brought to this season.
To those who went unnamed, please know you are just as immensely appreciated as those mentioned. I hope you know that your individuality, and the unique talents you bring to our village is exactly what our organization needed and needs.

There will never be a way to express how much we love, value, and appreciate every single one of you.
