GOD IS BIGGER THAN ANY PROBLEM! 🙌🏽

If you are contemplating staying home from worship service today because of what you’re going through, GET UP AND GO TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD!

Don’t allow your problem to keep you away from the very place where you can find peace, strength, encouragement, and renewed faith. Take that burden with you and lay it all on the altar. Give God your worries, your fears, your disappointments, and everything that has been weighing heavy on your heart.

Your problem may feel big, but our God is BIGGER! 🙏🏽

Go worship. Go praise. Go pray. Go expecting God to meet you there. You may walk into the House of the Lord carrying a heavy load, but I believe you can walk out feeling lighter, stronger, and reminded that God is still in control.

Get up and go to church today. Lay it at His feet and leave it there. God can handle what you cannot. ❤️🙏🏽

There is Something Special Waiting for You at Church

Life can become busy, and it’s easy to let Sunday pass by without gathering with other believers. But there is something powerful about being in God’s house. Every worship service is an opportunity to be renewed, encouraged, and reminded that God is still working in our lives.

Don’t allow distractions, discouragement, or comfort to keep you from experiencing what God has prepared for you. Your breakthrough, your encouragement, or the message you’ve been praying for may be waiting for you when you walk through those church doors. Please remember—you may also be the blessing someone else needs just by showing up with a smile, a hug, or a word of encouragement.

This week, make the decision to be in the house of the Lord. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come expecting God to move.

It’s Sunday! Let’s go to the house of the Lord for our spiritual renewal. Today, choose worship over excuses, gratitude over complacency, and obedience over convenience. God has been too good to us for us not to take time to honor Him. Let us gather together in His presence, lift our voices in praise, and thank Him for His grace, mercy, and countless blessings. If you do not have a church home, you are always welcome at East Florence M.B. Church 2715 Veterans Dr. Florence, Alabama. Sunday School starts at 8:20am and worship service starts at 9:00am. Stop spending so much time trying to be in the spotlight and focus on making the best out of what God has already placed in your hands. Not everyone is called to be seen by the crowd, but everyone is called to be faithful to God. The spotlight may bring attention, but only God’s presence brings true peace.

Instead of competing for recognition, spend more time in prayer, in His Word, and in His presence. God is the only One who can fill the empty places in your heart and give you the peace that the world cannot offer.

If you have a significant other, remember that you are a team. There is no competition in a healthy relationship. It is not about “I” and “me,” but about “we” and “us.” Celebrate each other’s victories, support one another through challenges, and build together. When God is at the center of your relationship, unity replaces rivalry and love overcomes selfishness.

Be grateful for what you have, be faithful with what God has given you, and trust Him with what is yet to come. The greatest blessing is not being noticed by people, but being known and guided by God.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)

“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 (NLT)

Sometimes the greatest act of faith is to be still and trust God with the things you cannot control. Not every battle requires your response, and not every burden was meant for you to carry alone. When your mind becomes overwhelmed, pause and remember that God is already working on what is worrying you. His peace is not dependent on your circumstances-it is rooted in His presence.

Today, choose peace over panic, faith over fear, and trust over worry. God has brought you through every challenge before, and He will faithfully guide you through this one as well.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3 ESV.

Today is Communion Sunday. Let’s start fresh👇🏽.

Before we focus on the faults of others, we should take time to examine our own hearts. It is easy to point out someone else’s mistakes, but God calls us to walk in love, grace, and humility. None of us are perfect, and every one of us stands in need of God’s mercy.

Instead of spending time judging others, spend time in God’s house, growing in His Word and strengthening your relationship with Him. Church is not a place for perfect people—it is a place where imperfect people come together to worship a perfect Savior. When we focus on God, our hearts become softer, our attitudes improve, and we learn to love others the way Christ loves us.

This Sunday, choose worship over criticism, grace over judgment, and prayer over gossip. The same mercy that God extends to us is the mercy we should extend to others.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Matthew 7:1-2 (NIV)
