What does it actually mean to bear one another’s burdens? It means we don’t just say, “I’ll pray for you” and move on. 👇🏾

It means noticing when someone is struggling and checking in. Listening without immediately trying to fix everything. Praying with them, not just for them. Offering practical help when we can. Sitting with someone in their grief. Reminding them of God’s truth when they’ve forgotten it. Making space for people to be honest without making them feel ashamed for struggling.

Sometimes bearing a burden looks like a meal, a phone call, a ride, a prayer, a conversation, or simply sitting beside them when there aren’t any words.

Reach out to someone today. Bear a burden. 💙

Why do we pray as Christians? We hate to admit it, but oftentimes, we only pray when we want God to change something or give us something. But that's not the point of prayer. 👇🏾

Prayer is a response to the character of God, not a last resort to fix our problems.

We pray when life is falling apart, but we also pray when everything is going right, not because we need something from Him, but because we want to know Him. 💙

Prayer reminds us that God is not simply someone we go to when we need help. He is God, and we exist for Him, not the other way around.

So pray today. But pray to truly know God. Not to satisfy yourself. 🙏🏾
