If your church is more bothered by children making noise than by an entire generation growing up without knowing Jesus, something needs to change.
Children are not an inconvenience to the church. They are part of the church’s future, and they belong in the house of God right now, not just when they’re old enough to sit perfectly still.
If we want our children to grow up knowing Jesus, we have to make room for them to learn, worship, and be present, even when it’s messy and loud.
We cannot pray for the next generation while making their parents feel unwelcome in God’s house.
I’d rather hear little voices interrupt a sermon than watch a generation grow up believing there is no place for them in church.
