The Reformation generally is recognized to have begun in 1517, when Martin Luther (1483–1546), a German monk and university professor, on October 31st in 1517 posted his ninety-five theses on the door of the castle church in Wittenberg. Luther argued that the church had to be reformed.

How much more will Martin Luther's reformational work continue if the Church (Christians) resolve to treat the Bible the way we treat our cell phone? You are invited to share your thoughts. Happy Reformation Day!

Don’t just think about it…
Why did God become Flesh? How can you and I being humans with shortfalls come to the point of knowing God who is eternal? How can we as created beings have a relationship with God the Creator of all things? How does spiritual life begin in every human being? In what way is God’s divine revelation in Jesus different from the way he revealed himself in the Old Testament law? What part does faith play in your becoming a child of God?

WHAT IS TRUTH?
Truth! What is truth? It is the fact that you don't tell people that you love another person, but you are unwilling to talk to that Person… you don't tell people that you love another person, but you just can't open up and be transparent about your feelings, ideas, or your past experiences… you don't tell me that you love another person, but you are unwilling to work on getting to the core issue of a problem that exists between you. When you express love that way, it is relative truth. Genuine love never limits conversation, transparency, or personal self-examination. Absolute truth is believing and accepting the fact that you are the person that God has made you to be – a man or a woman and not a man-woman or a woman-man (Gay or Le***an). Absolute truth is the fact that the sun shines in the day and not at night and that cannot change. It is ABSOLUTE TRUTH that sin is sin no matter how beautiful you try to convert it, legalize it, rename it, brandish it and re-baptized it… It is still sin and punishable with death (Romans 6:23). To you what is truth? Is it absolute or relative? Embrace the absolute truth and enjoy peace and eternal life!

DON’T FORGET
There is one force that darkness cannot conquer – the force of loving acts of kindness done in Jesus’ name… Don’t forget it is God’s people that turn the other cheek… Don’t forget to go the extra mile… and forgive and even love their enemies who oppose them, who have the power to turn the tide against evil. Look for the privileged opportunity to do an act of kindness today to bring the light of Christ to others. Simply trusting everyday… “Trusting through the stormy way; Even when your faith is small… Trusting Jesus, that is all!” (Edger Page Stites)

BE PART OF THE BODY
When we minister to others through our gifts, we are tapping in to the inexhaustible energy and motivation of God.... When we exercise our gifts, the Holy Spirit flows through us like at no other time. We are doing what we have been called and equipped to do it even better as the BODY.
We experience an extra measure of energy and joy in being the BODY of Christ.

HE DELIVERS US!
You can talk to God because He listens. Your voice matters in heaven…
He takes you very seriously. When you enter his presence, he turns to you to hear your voice… “But I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice” (Psalm 55:16-17). Better still when you cry out to him through prayer and fasting. He will not let you perish… Your tears are held in his hands… No need to fear that you will be ignored… Queen Esther can confirm that to you. “Go, gather together all the Jews in who are in Susa, and fast for me… I and my maids will fast as you do… I will go to the king… And if I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16). Even if you stammer or stumble, even if what you have to say impresses no one, it impresses God, and he listens… Intently… Carefully… and acts too!

WHERE ARE YOU?
When you opened your eyes this morning [God] was in (your day). He has sustained you not just through the night, but also through out 2023. His faithfulness is through all generations and mercies are new every morning… He greeted you with new mercies at morning's light, gave you the breath of life, and promised to direct your steps in the year 2024… Did you see this as a right that God owes you or a privilege, he has given you to make a fresh start in 2024? The question He is asking you is: “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9). He is not asking you in order to judge you or to condemn you. He is asking you to save you from destruction and eternal dead in hell fire… Because of God's Love and Mercies, you can follow Him with all of your heart today and through 2024. Will you respond to his question? He is looking for imperfect men and women in 2024 who are seeking to walk in moment-by-moment dependence on the Holy Spirit… seekers who have come to terms with their inadequacies, fears, and failures… followers who will become discontent with just "surviving" but will take time to investigate everything God has to offer in this life… God's method for reaching this generation, every generation, is not preachers and sermons… It is Christians whose lifestyles are empowered and directed by the Holy Spirit…
