The story of Noah isn’t really about the flood. It’s about what God does when the whole world walks away — and one person doesn’t.
Noah wasn’t a superhero. He was just faithful. He walked with God when nobody else was. And God saw him, found favor with him, and built something through him.
That same God is still looking. Not for perfection. For a heart that’s turned toward him.
We’re in week 2 of Foundations — a series walking through the stories that set up everything else in Scripture. This one’s worth the full listen. Link in bio.

Most of us don't think of ordinary life as particularly holy.
But that might be the whole point.
This Monday we're continuing our Summer Seminar series through Galatians and Ephesians — and Walker Bartz is leading a conversation on exactly that. Where is the Holy Spirit in the everyday? What does it look like to live set apart not in theory, but in the most normal moments of your week?
Monday, June 15 at 7 PM in the Grove Kids classroom. Childcare available if you sign up by Sunday — link in bio.

Forgiving someone who keeps hurting you doesn’t feel like the baseline. It feels like next level discipleship.
The disciples thought so too. They asked Jesus for more faith just to be able to do it.
His response: it’s not a faith volume problem. A mustard seed of faith is enough to do things you can’t even imagine. The problem is something else entirely — you see obedience as doing God a favor.
It isn’t. It’s just the job.

The story of Adam and Eve isn't just ancient history. It's a mirror.
We step outside of God's protection. Shame kicks in immediately. And instead of running toward God, we hide — and then spend all our energy trying to fix what we broke.
But here's what the very first story in scripture makes clear: God is the one who comes looking. And when our attempts to cover our own shame fall short, he's the one who covers it — through sacrifice.
That pattern doesn't end in Genesis. It runs through the entire Bible and lands in Jesus.
You don't have to keep hiding.

Loneliness rarely announces itself. It just quietly convinces you that you're better off alone — and that nobody would stick around if they really knew you.
Mark talked this week about why loneliness might be one of the most overlooked off ramps from the life God has for you. And how the antidote isn't just "go make friends" — it's recognizing the lies that got you there first.
