A lot of us have been treating confession like damage control. Like if we don’t stay on top of it, we might slip back into the negative — back to where we were before God found us.
But that’s not what confession is for.
You’re not a servant trying to maintain your standing. You’re an adopted child who already has a secure place at the table. Confession isn’t about keeping the relationship — it’s about keeping the closeness.
The relationship is already secure. You confess because you care about the intimacy, not because you’re afraid of losing your place.

There’s a massive temptation to just check the box.
Yep, I believe. Check.
And never let it actually infiltrate your life — never let it change anything.
But assent to facts and belief are two different things.
Knowing Jesus is coming and Jesus is my Lord are two different things.
This isn’t about works. It’s not about how much you did or how well you performed. It’s something much more personal than that.

This is what we want to be in Northwest Arkansas.
Not just a place people come to on Sundays — but a community that carries the needs of its neighbors the other six days too. Our food pantry is one small way we try to live that out. Hands and feet, not just words.

God's been saying it since Jeremiah: there are ancient paths that lead to life. Proven, tried-and-true ways of walking with him that have never stopped working.

Scripture memory. Meditation. Confession. Simplicity. Service.

We know these things. Most of us just aren't doing them — not because they don't work, but because we stopped walking the path.

Our amazing volunteers got together to plan, connect, and get ready for a new season—and we’re always looking for more awesome people to join the fun! 💚

Back to School Kickoff starts THIS Sunday! 🎥🎬🍿And we’d love for you to jump in with us as we kick off a new year of learning, growing, and pointing kids to Jesus. We’ll be learning the Lord’s Prayer and about who God says we are in Him.
