Maybe Labor Day has you reflecting on a new job opportunity or just simply getting back into the routine for fall. Will it include a new church routine? On the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 7pm, BLC Quilters gather to iron, cut, sort, and package fabric to make quilts for Linus Blankets. We take packages home to sew and sometimes much more! On the 5th Thursday we gather to tie a quilt for Lutheran World Relief. If you can see yourself with time on Thursdays, time to sew at home (we’ll give you a kit with easy directions or make your own,) or time just occasionally on the 5th Thursday, please join us! All skill levels are needed and welcome.

Have you ever stopped to think about the church as a living, thriving tree? Who are the roots that dig deep into the foundation of faith? Who is the trunk, the strong and sturdy pillar? And who are the branches that spread out in all directions, in the form of service and outreach? Are you a leaf, clinging to the branch for sustenance and nourishment, or have you fallen away from the tree?

As we approach a new and renewed season in the church, we welcome you to come and see where you fit on the tree at BLC. All are welcome!

Bi-weekly Bethlehem Lutheran Church offers a Grief Support Group and Life Happens Support Group. If you are in a time of needing support you are welcome to join us. For one time or multiple times. YOU MATTER!

What is Worship to BLC?

Worship is the heart of our congregational life from which everything flows. Worship provides an experience of the living God that deepens our faith and calls us to action in daily life. Worship shapes us with beautiful music, well-prepared leadership and thoughtful preaching. Worship stretches us to experience the living God in new ways but is always grounded in forming community and witnessing to an authentic Lutheran understanding of faith in Jesus Christ. Worship is energetic, thoughtful, intentional, and full of joyful noise.
