Our text this Sunday is from Matthew 9:9-13, which recounts Jesus calling Matthew (a despised tax collector) to be His disciple, and later eating with a crowd of tax collectors and outcasts. When the Pharisees criticized Him for this, Jesus declared that the spiritually sick need a doctor, emphasizing mercy over rigid religious sacrifice. Michael Hutchison will be leading our service.

This week, we will look at Matthew 28:16-20. This Scripture, widely known as the Great Commission, is Jesus' final marching orders to his followers. It outlines the global mission of the Church: to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them, grounded in the authority and eternal presence of Jesus.
