Mountain Rise United Church of Christ Helping people connect faith and real life, just east of Rochester, NY

Mountain Rise church began in living rooms of Perinton neighborhood homes in 1962, as a gathering of questioners, seekers, and Christ-followers. Today Mountain Rise aspires to welcome people of diverse backgrounds, to serve others in practical ways, and to live out Christ’s ideals of justice, peace, and compassion. We are an “Open and Affirming” church, meaning that regardless of sexual orientation, we welcome all to full participation.
