What a special evening!

After weeks of planning and keeping a secret, we were able to successfully surprise Bro. Ed and Mrs. Debbie Russ as we celebrated 40 years of faithful ministry at FaithWay Baptist Church.

For four decades, they have poured their lives into serving the Lord, loving people, discipling believers, strengthening families, and investing in countless lives for eternity. Their impact reaches far beyond what can be measured this side of Heaven.

Thank you to our church family for your generosity, participation, cards, gifts, prayers, and for helping make this celebration so meaningful. We are also grateful for the many friends who traveled from other ministries and churches to honor them and celebrate this milestone together.

A special thank you to Pastor Tim and Sharon Rabon for their friendship, encouragement, and for helping make the evening so memorable. Your role in the celebration was a tremendous blessing.

Most importantly, we thank God for His faithfulness through these forty years. The lives changed, ministries strengthened, and souls impacted are all a testimony to His grace.

Congratulations, Bro. Ed and Mrs. Debbie! We love you, we honor you, and we thank God for your faithful example of service.

On Sunday evening, May 31, during our 6:00 PM service, we will be holding a very special service honoring Bro. Ed & Mrs. Debbie Russ for 40 years of faithful full-time ministry.

For four decades, they have faithfully served the Lord here in Evansville through FaithWay Baptist Church and Faith Music Missions, ministering to our church family and impacting churches across the nation through Christ-honoring music and faithful service.

Following the evening service, we will enjoy a special reception together as a church family, and we would love for everyone to attend as we celebrate this incredible milestone.

• Yourself and an appetite
• A card or note of encouragement
• A personal gift
• Or simply come ready to celebrate and show your appreciation

Additionally, for those who have asked, a special love offering is being received to help offset some of the medical expenses from Bro. Ed’s recent cancer treatments.
