💛 THANK YOU, EVANSVILLE! 💙

Wow, what an incredible day! The Ukrainian Spring Fest 2026 has officially come to a close, and our hearts are so full.

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to our amazing local community and our Grace of Christ Church family for being with us today. It was such a blessing to see so many smiling faces enjoying the beautiful weather, sharing homemade meals, and watching the kids have fun.

Most importantly, your incredible support today directly helps our Ukraine Support Mission provide much-needed humanitarian aid. We simply couldn't do this without you!
Have a wonderful, restful evening, and we can’t wait to see you next time! ✨

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear..." — Psalm 46:9 🕊️

Dear friends and church family, our hearts ache as we look at the state of our world today. But as believers, we are not called to despair; we are called to stand in the gap. Today, we invite you to pause whatever you are doing and join us in a unified, fervent prayer:

🙏 For the conflict between the USA and Iran. We pray for a miraculous and swift end to the hostilities. We ask God to grant divine wisdom to leaders and, above all, to preserve precious human lives on all sides.

🙏 For peace in Ukraine. As this devastating war enters its fourth agonizing year, we cry out to the Lord for a miracle. We pray for an end to the destruction, for the protection of defenders, and for God’s undeniable peace to finally reign over Ukrainian skies.

🙏 For the protection of Israel. Standing on the promise of Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem," we ask for God's mighty shield of protection over the land and its people in these turbulent times.

Let us not grow weary in prayer, for the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16).

Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9).

Our very special volunteer, Halyna, celebrated another birthday working tirelessly at our booth today at the Fall Festival. We are very grateful that she and her little family are safe here in the US, and that we all can serve those that are still there in our war-torn country.

One of our favorite yearly traditions now! Ron Rhodes Weather was at it again! Our Jumbo Torpedo Sausage was staring in another live TV episode in the Hot Dog Eating Contest that became a tradition at West Side Nut Club Fall Festival Come get yours at Booth #121!

Thankful for a great review from Olyvia! And yes, Ukrainians eat almost everything with sour cream, so a bit of it is included in the sampler box to enjoy with Pelmeni and Varenyky!

Fall Festival 2025 has begun! 🍁 Booth #121 is happy to give you your Ukrainian food fix! It's a bit of a wet start with an occasional rain today, but no amount of rain should keep you from enjoying a good juicy Cheburek or some Pelmeni or Varenyky! Come see us any day this week from 10am to 9pm!
