🚨 LONG POST ALERT… BUT STAY WITH ME. 🚨

Tonight’s Conversation was powerful.

We gathered around Acts 3 and wrestled with a simple but challenging truth:

Before Peter offered healing, before he spoke the name of Jesus, before the miracle happened… he saw the man.

And that's where evangelism begins.

Too often we're trying to save people we've never taken the time to see.

Tonight we talked about the reality that there are hurting people all around us—friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, classmates, and even people sitting beside us every day—who are carrying pain that nobody notices.

The challenge for all of us during FRAN-gelism Month is simple:

👉 Slow down.👉 Open your eyes.👉 See people.👉 Love people.👉 Introduce people to Jesus.

Because people cannot experience the power of Christ until somebody notices their pain.

Now let me ask you a question...

Who is your ONE friend?

Who is the person God keeps putting on your heart?

Who needs an invitation?Who needs encouragement?Who needs to know they matter?

This Sunday is Communion Sunday, and there is no better Sunday to invite someone to experience the love, grace, and power of Jesus Christ.

🔥 DON’T MISS TONIGHT’S CONVERSATION! 🔥

Everybody talks about what’s wrong with the Church…

But tonight we’re talking about what happens when WE become the Church.

If you’re in your 30s or 40s, balancing work, family, relationships, goals, and trying to keep God first, this conversation is for you.

Too many people are trying to do life alone when God designed us for community.

What if the biggest threat to the Church isn’t what’s happening outside the building…

But what’s happening inside it?

Author Thom S. Rainer wrote:

“Some churches would rather die than get out of the comfort of the past.”

And maybe even more challenging:

“The concept of an inactive church member is an oxymoron. Biblically, no such church member really exists.”

Ouch.

If we’re honest, many of us love the idea of church… but struggle with being the Church.

We want community, but avoid connection.

We want change, but resist participation.

We want a move of God, but often expect someone else to make the move.

Tonight we’re opening Acts 3 and asking a simple question:

👉 What does it really mean to be the Church?

Not the building.
Not the denomination.
Not the tradition.

Us.

Real people.
Real faith.
Real impact.

Whether you’re active in church, frustrated with church, disconnected from church, or trying to figure out where you fit in God’s plan, this conversation is for you.

FRAN-gelism Month is officially underway at New Hope Baptist Church – The Place of Hope! 💜💚

What a beautiful way to kick off our June emphasis on evangelism and outreach!

Today we celebrated the “F” in FRAN-gelism — Friends & Family by worshipping together outdoors at the park with our sister church family. Under God’s beautiful creation, we gathered in unity, lifted our voices in praise, heard the Word, shared fellowship, and enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

This was more than a church service—it was a reminder that the Church is not confined to a building. The Church is God’s people gathering, growing, and going wherever He leads.

The spirit of fellowship, worship, and community was on full display.

As we continue through FRAN-gelism Month, let’s keep reaching out:

✅ June 28 – N & S: Neighbors & Strangers
