Although the church is pictured in Abandoned in
Virginia, we are still active! We welcome you to come by to visit our services each Sunday at 10:00 am for preaching (once the social distancing is completed). We do community outreach activities like our Soup and Chili dinner, music, VBS program, etc. Although we are a small congregation, we continue to fellowship.

The building is available for weddings. Keep praying for us to be able to keep the doors open. Lifting you all in prayer for health and safety during these days,

Construction on the rock church started in 1905 and upon completion was dedicated as Christ Episcopal Church in 1912. It was the Christ Episcopal Church until the summer of 1951 when the last Bible School was held.
In 1952 Ernest and Fannie Swartzentruber started the Rehoboth Mennonite Church. Their first public service was held May 4, 1952 in a store building. That year the first Summer Bible School was also held. The little church outgrew the store building they were using and in 1954 the first Summer Bible School was held in the rock church. In 1968 the church and land was deed to the Rehoboth Mennonite Church.
Services are still on going to this day. Summer Bible School is held for a week each year as well.
Please come and join us.
