Losing a member of your congregation is never easy. A wise pastor once told me, “As the years go by, you move from eulogizing members to eulogizing friends.” Those words carry even more meaning today.

Deacon Fred Eubanks was more than a faithful member of the church family — he was a friend, a servant, and a steady presence whose life touched so many. His faithfulness, kindness, and love for God and people will never be forgotten.

While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Earth has lost a good man, but Heaven has gained another soldier. May we honor his legacy by continuing to serve, love, and walk faithfully as he did.

Deacon Fred Eubanks, you will truly be missed, but your impact will live on in every life you touched. Rest well, faithful servant.
