Thank you to all of our amazing Community UMC volunteers who came out to the Tonawanda School Festival on Wednesday evening! Despite the rain, our crew showed up with smiles, giant bubbles, temporary tattoos, and plenty of fun.

We are also grateful to all the families who stopped by the Community UMC booth to say hello, make bubbles, get a tattoo, and share a few laughs with us. It was a joy to connect with our neighbors and remind everyone that faith can be fun!

Thank you, Tonawanda, for a wonderful evening. We loved being part of the fun and can't wait to see you again soon!

Whether you wore a tutu or work gloves, pushed a wheelbarrow or carried a tiny flower pot, everyone pitched in today at Mother's Day Out Summer Camp!

Our children worked together to help fill our brand-new planters, hauling dirt with little wheelbarrows, buckets, pots, and plenty of determination. From the biggest helpers to the smallest gardeners, every child played a part in making this project happen.

We are so proud of their teamwork, hard work, and willingness to help one another. Today we planted more than flowers—we planted responsibility, cooperation, and a love for caring for God's creation. 🌱💚

A big thank you to all of our amazing little gardeners for helping us begin this exciting new gardening adventure!

Message: How Brightly Are You Shining?

In Luke 11:33–36, Jesus reminds us that a lamp is meant to give light, not be hidden away. The image of the lamp in this week's graphic invites us to consider the light within us. Are we allowing God's love, grace, and truth to shine brightly, illuminating the world around us? Or are there places where shadows have crept in?

Jesus teaches that the way we see shapes the way we live. When our eyes are fixed on God's goodness, our whole lives become filled with light. Join us this Sunday as we explore what it means to live as people of light and ask ourselves: How brightly are you shining?

Please note that due to the Wisconsin Annual Conference, Communion will not be celebrated on Sunday, June 7. Instead, we will gather at the Lord's Table on Sunday, June 14. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to sharing Communion together next week.
