🍂 THE CARD MINISTRY WILL MEET SEPTEMBER 14! 🍂

Because of the Labor Day holiday on September 7, The Card Ministry will meet on Monday, September 14, from 6:30–8:00 PM in the Disciple Room.

💌 This month, we’ll be making Thanksgiving cards for members of our church family and friends who could use a little extra smile and encouragement.

🚗 Parking: You may park in the west parking lot and come directly into the Disciple Room.

👋 Bring a friend! Everyone is welcome to join us for an evening of creativity, fellowship, and spreading a little kindness—no special card-making experience needed!

Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer another person is simply to see them, hear them, and remind them that they are not alone.
As we reflect on this story, we’ll also begin looking toward a new ministry of compassion at Community—a respite care ministry designed to offer connection and care for those living with dementia and Parkinson’s, while giving their caregivers time to rest and renew.

Rainforest Falls VBS Celebration
The rainforest adventure doesn't end when VBS is over! Join us for our Rainforest Falls VBS Celebration as we gather around the table for one of Community's favorite traditions—Waffle Church. Enjoy a delicious waffle breakfast, a relaxed and family-friendly worship service, and a special celebration led by our Rainforest Explorers.
Our VBS kids will share the songs they've been singing all week, help us remember the lessons they discovered in the rainforest, and remind us that God's love for creation is something we carry with us every day. As we reflect on Psalm 103:22, praising the Lord with all creation, and 1 Samuel 2:3, remembering that God knows, sees, and values each of us, we'll celebrate the amazing week we've shared together and the God who journeys with us wherever we go.
Whether you attended VBS, have children or grandchildren to cheer on, or simply love waffles and joyful worship, there's a place for you at the table. Come hungry, come ready to sing, and come celebrate all that God has done during our week at Rainforest Falls!

Wild Kingdom: River of Grace – Caring for our Rivers, Lakes, and Ponds

Our Wild Kingdom journey continues this Sunday as we discover the life-giving gift of water. From rushing rivers and peaceful lakes to quiet ponds, water is one of God's greatest blessings, bringing life, renewal, and hope to all creation. In Revelation 22:1–5, we are given a beautiful vision of the River of the Water of Life flowing from God's throne, nourishing the Tree of Life and bringing healing to the nations. In Matthew 10:40–42, Jesus reminds us that even the smallest act of kindness—offering a cup of cold water in His name—is seen, valued, and remembered by God.

Join us as we celebrate God's abundant grace flowing through creation and discover how caring for our waterways reflects God's love for the world. Together we'll explore how simple acts of stewardship and compassion can become living streams of hope for our neighbors and for generations to come. We look forward to welcoming you this Sunday!

Wild Kingdom: Trees of Life – Caring for our Rainforest and the Trees of Our World

Our journey through Wild Kingdom continues this Sunday as we celebrate the beauty and importance of the trees that fill our rainforests and our own communities. In Luke 21:29–33, Jesus points to the fig tree and reminds us that just as we can recognize the changing seasons by watching the trees, we can also recognize God's work unfolding around us. Creation is constantly revealing God's faithfulness and reminding us that His promises never fail.

Join us as we explore what the trees can teach us about hope, renewal, and trusting in God's enduring Word. Together, we'll celebrate the incredible gift of creation, reflect on our call to care for it, and be reminded that while seasons change, Jesus' words will never pass away. We can't wait to worship with you!
