You asked? Fr. Harmon answered.

Fr. Harmon was asked his thoughts on Eucharistic Prayer II and he came through with a history *potentially* dating all the way back to St. Hippolytus’ ‘Apostolic Tradition’ in Ancient Rome.

❤️‍🔥Heart of Jesus, aflame with love for us❤️‍🔥

Have mercy on us.

In the newest episode of ‘Fr. Philip’s Favorite…?’, he talks about one of his favorite Feasts celebrated *Today*: The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Just yesterday, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops consecrated the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Fr. Philip encourages us to celebrate this Feast during this month of June, which is dedicated to it. Stay tuned for next week’s episode, when he gives a brief history of the Feast and how we began celebrating it in the Church.

You asked? Fr. Harmon answered.

In the newest episode of ‘Pester the Priest’, Fr. Harmon was asked: What does St. Mary’s have to offer to help me grow in my prayer life? Fr. Harmon talks about Mass, the Sacraments, Adoration, and many ways in which our parish can help feed your faith and aid you in growing closer to the Lord.

Behold the Bread of Angels!

Participating in a centuries old Roman Catholic tradition, SMV processed with the Eucharist, ***the Real Presence of Jesus Christ***, in public through the streets of Elm Grove on our celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi.

Famously, St. Francis of Assisi wrote “O sublime humility! O humble sublimity! That the Lord of the universe, God and the Son of God, so humbles Himself that for our salvation He hides Himself under a morsel of bread!”

In this clip from the preceding Mass, Schola Angelorum chants the shortened form of the Corpus Christi Sequence, Ecce Panis Angelorum, composed by St Thomas Aquinas.

🎓Congratulations to the St. Mary’s Visitation Parish and School Class of 2026!

Today, we sent off our 8th grade graduates with a morning Baccalaureate Mass, then an evening Sung Vespers and Graduation Ceremony. In his homily, Fr. Philip encouraged the students not to be distracted by the things that keep them from Christ and keep them from Heaven. We pray for these students today and will continue to pray for them as they leave for high school. May God Bless them and may they always consider SMV a home and refuge.

Angel of God, my guardian dear…

Fr. Philip talks about another of his favorite prayers in this new episode of “Fr. Philip’s Favorite…?”: The Angel of God prayer. Our Guardian angels protect us and keep us safe from sin. May we continue to seek their help in our daily life!

You asked? Fr. Harmon answered.

“How can I add more prayer into my life?”
In this new episode of ‘Pester the Priest’, Fr. Harmon talks about how to begin and grow a life of prayer in the midst of a noisy world. He has some suggestions for how anyone can enrich their life with more prayer, even someone who already prays often.
